Beautiful home with beautiful grounds and even your own family room with TV. Down stairs so you have total privacy. The owners cater to your needs as far as serving organic foods and catering to anyone with allergies or diabetes, etc. They gave us great suggestions as to where to visit while in the Seattle area. Close to everything yet out of high traffic areas. It was a little out of the way but extremely easy to find (with MapQuest or GPS you can find it easily) I felt as though we were visiting family. They are outstanding, wonderful hosts. I would suggest this B & B to anyone who asked.

Room Tip: Nice private patio to sit out on in the larger room, but the Rose room is very cozy. All rooms are...

Thank you for your comments concerning your stay at A Cascade View Bed & Breakfast. We really enjoyed meeting you. That part of owning a Bed & Breakfast is the most fun. How else would we meet all the wonderful people that I have stayed with us. I hope our paths cross again sometime in the future.

I needed a place that was comfortable and quiet so I could study effectively. Not only did this B&B fit the bill, it was fairly priced and located a few minutes from the downtown area in the midst of beautiful evergreen trees on a private driveway. Having a large room with a separate family room and kitchen area was helpful too.

Room Tip: The Garden Room is large and spacious with a private bath. The Rose Room is a bit smaller with the...

Top of the line materials adorn this B and B in the suburbs of Seattle. Set your GPS as many of the streets, avenues, etc. sound alike. It will be worth your while. Once there, you'll experience a botanical gem, a splendid atrium and a nice view of the mountains around Seattle. Breakfast is a treat, especially if you ask and enjoy almond laced pancakes.

Rooms are well furnished. We stayed in a master type bedroom downstairs with king size bed, well-appointed bathroom and a fireplace.

Seattle is only 15 minutes away and best traveled after rush hour. While away the time with a visit to the area's health food store (Marianne is a fan).

You'll enjoy it.

Room Tip: Get the master bedroom downstairs

This B & B is not the easiest to find, but well worth it.
The grounds are magnificent! The host takes pride in her gardens and they are truly amazing.
Breakfast is prepared with care, catering to anyone with food allergies. Food is fresh, organic, healthy, and of the best quality. The host is helpful with suggestions of sights worth seeing as the inn is located just 15 minutes outside of Seattle.
There are two rooms for rent. The one we stayed in had a king bed, gas fireplace, and its own private bath. The bed is very comfortable. Your every need is anticipated. The owners' two dogs roam freely in the main part of the house. They are very friendly and lovable.

Marianne and Bill are just the nicest, friendliest people. My son had to practice the flute for an exam twice a day and they gave him a living room to do it in. In Hotel's this is not allowed. The breakfast was gourmet and the coffee was REAL coffee. Freshest, organic ingredients. Comfy beds and pillows. Beautiful home and gardens - seriously home away from home. Very convenient (by car) to get to Kirkland, and the highway to downtown. If we have to go back to Seattle, we would stay there.

My mom and I stayed here for two nights during our Seattle visit. We were afraid to stay outside of the city but it actually became a convenience to start and end the day at a beautiful home with amazing gardens and hosts. It's only a 15 minute drive into town. Mary Anne is a wonderful host and amazing pancake maker! The rooms have everything you could possibly need. Also, ask to meet her own chickens!!

Marianne & Bill were both very welcoming and friendly. Our stay felt more like we were friends visiting from out of town rather than two vacationers on one stop of their trip. The fresh eggs laid by the hens that Marianne & Bill keep made breakfast a treat, knowing you’re getting the freshest ingredients you can get! It was especially sweet that Marianne even double checked our likes and dislikes before cooking to make sure she was making something we’d like. We stayed in the Rose Room which was very nice and comfortable. Although the bathroom was beautiful, it wasn’t as private as we thought it would be. It ended up being detached from the room and down the hallway. Had there been other guests staying at the same time as us it may have been awkward but thankfully we were the only ones and it didn’t present a problem. If their website was more accurate with the information we would have opted for the other, more expensive room which did have a true private bath. (a really nice one too, we peaked) Their website can use some updating since the pictures of the rooms do NOT do them justice but rather made them look old and drab – which they are not. And also a sign on the street leading into the driveway would have been very helpful; we drove up and down the road several times wondering if our directions had been faulty. But these are minor complaints and shouldn’t deter anyone from staying this very quiet and warm B&B! PS. We wanted to steal her dog, she is adorable!
