This small beach park is hard to find, but well worth the effort. Not far from the shopping heaven (or hell) that is Bellevue Square lies this oasis, tucked into a wooded ravine that spills down to the shores of Lake Washington. There is a small sand beach, picnic area with grills and room to be by yourself as well. Wonderful views across the water to some rather unbelievable homes built into the hillside. Really a nice place and so unexpected too.
A word for anyone who is physically challenged - the walk from the parking lot is a bit steep, but paved. You can drive down to the handicapped parking area for drop off, then drive back up to the regular parking lot if necessary.
