“Urban escape”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

This small beach park is hard to find, but well worth the effort. Not far from the shopping heaven (or hell) that is Bellevue Square lies this oasis, tucked into a wooded ravine that spills down to the shores of Lake Washington. There is a small sand beach, picnic area with grills and room to be by yourself as well. Wonderful views across the water to some rather unbelievable homes built into the hillside. Really a nice place and so unexpected too.

A word for anyone who is physically challenged - the walk from the parking lot is a bit steep, but paved. You can drive down to the handicapped parking area for drop off, then drive back up to the regular parking lot if necessary.

“Small but refreshing”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

It's a small park, not much parking but convenient for a quick lounge around.

“A very nice little park”
Reviewed December 26, 2011

This is a nice little city park right on Lake Washington in Bellevue. They have a bit of sand Beach front and grass sitting areas. My wife and I enjoying sitting on the grass during the summer and watching the sun set on sunny days.

The parking is quite limited so come early if you want a good spot.

“The hike is worth it!”
Reviewed November 16, 2011

This is my favorite beach park in Bellevue. The nearest road is far up a steep hill, and there is limited parking halfway down the access road, so be ready to hike back up at the end of your day. The beach is small, but it's absolutely gorgeous. It's very well maintained, with beautiful views. There is a little dock and markers for the deep and shallow parts. Nice restrooms too.
