Where to start, well let me just list the problems I had with this hotel, - extremely outdated rooms, inexperienced staff, very basic cable, odd smell, expired and extremely limited breakfast selection (nothing warm, no eggs, only cold stale pastries and cereal), they were selling expired chocolate bars in their pantry beside the front desk. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere.... you're better off at a bigger chain hotel like the Marriott, Best Western or somewhere else because they have a certain standard so you pretty much know what to expect. Larkspur landing's pictures are very misleading. The place is not hideous but it just wasn't what I saw in the pictures but if having a kitchen in your room is really important to you (for $115 a night at that) than you might not mind what it looks like as much. In larkspur's defense, they did refund me one nights stay (I stayed for 7 nights) for my troubles. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling alone (especially women) because the hotel is very isolated. This hotel would be ok for families/couples on a budget but I wouldn't eat their food.
