“just your regular Chinese restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2012

The location was great, but the food is just OK. Some dishes are good, some are not. You need to know what's good and order those.

“This business moves around.”

I've lived in Bellevue for 10 years and they've had 3 locations. Really, an icon for Chinese fare for a long time. Good food, nicely priced.

“Very tasty, but americanized cantonese food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2011

Started with the wonton soup - tasted like it should, with just enough wontons, chicken breast, shrimp to make me happy. Green onion pancakes, sesame beef, braised string beans, yang chow fried rice - excellent. The bbq pork chow mein had too much sauce for me, but my kids liked it (what does that tell you?). The honey walnut shrimp was a little undercooked. I liked the family style - traditional part of this "hole in the wall" family run establishment.. The price of the food was very reasonable (affordable!). The bakery in the front of the restaurant had a display of delicious baked goods, but I was too full to try any. Next time!

The 3 star is for a few menu items only. Like the Stew Beef. Service was good in general.
