We are new to the Seattle area and after reading reviews of steakhouses we decided to give Daniel's a try. We were seated promptly to our dining table, with a view of Lake Washington. The staff called us by name, from our reservation, and they were quite personable welcoming us to their establishment, introducing us to their cooking style, cuts of meat and the menu selections. We chose and shared the crab appetizer and tomato salad, both were served quickly and were very, very tasty.
For our dinner entrees my husband selected the prime rib and I the filet with the Oscar topping (the Oscar is not on the menu but our server, Chris explained it in detail and I could not resist). Our meals were fabulous in flavor, I'd bet it was the best filet I've ever had and the Oscar is not to be outdone. The portions were large and the meals were served piping hot. We were also introduced to a lovely red wine from the Walla Walla area, a Meritage from Waterbrook. It was so smooth and buttery, almost like velvet. it was so exceptional that I have located it through a wine shop and ordered 2 bottles already.
We highly recommend Daniel's Broiler and we will certainly return again! Thanks for reading and enjoy!
