“Moderately priced, adequate hotel”

Pros: The staff is incredibly nice. They are really friendly and treat you like they care. I let them know that an outlet wasn't working (which wasn't a big deal) and they were very apologetic, noted it right away, and I'm confident that they actually took care of the problem. The location is good if you're visiting or working in Bellevue. close to the freeway, but it's across the freeway from downtown so you'll either need a car or plan on a bit of a walk. They do have free parking. There is a Whole Foods across the street. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and the shower pressure is fantastic. I set a couple of shirts on one of the chairs, when I came back to my room, housekeeping had folded them neatly. Cannot say enough good things about the staff.

The hotel is a little older and definitely isn't a fancy or upscale hotel. If you're looking for a full service resort then this isn't the right choice. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay, then this is a good choice.

Breakfast is included and is good if you want to grab a quick pastry or yogurt. The restaurant has a well stocked bar, again, friendly staff, and plenty of TVs for watching sports. I'd say the food is adequate if you're tired and don't want to venture out any further. It's definitely not a hopping night scene.

Cons: The fitness center is basically a treadmill and a couple other cardio machines. If you just need to keep up a running routine and you're able to grab the treadmill, it works. but it's very very tiny and limited. It is right next to the freeway so you will hear traffic. if you're sensitive to this, you might want to ask for a room that has less noise.

The carpet is worn and the furniture looks like Aunt Mildred's. The walls have been patched; the rooms could use paint. But it's clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable. It's a class up from La Quinta. There's a decent, if basic restaurant attached to the property (Eastside Grill). It's a good enough value for what you spend.

I have stayed here on a couple of occasions by booking through priceline. It's easy to get to. It would be nicer being on the Bellevue city centre side of the I-5. My last stay I had booked through Priceline and upon check-in was informed that they had over sold the hotel and ended up getting an upgrade to a "suite". This is pretty much just a glorified regular room. THe rooms could use some updating but they are clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast is quite possibly one of the worst out there, little selection, bland food and the restaurant staff seem to neglect the buffet table as well as cleaning up the eating tables.

We booked this hotel on Priceline for a pre-Christmas family shopping weekend. After reading the mixed reviews, we were pleasantly pleased by the hotel. Although a little dated, our room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Francesca who went out of her way to be helpful in shuttling me around while my husband took the kids to the Science Center downtown in the car. The free continental breakfast was about average for hotels of this type. The location was great next to the 405--close to the mall,, Whole Foods, etc. Free parking & WiFi rounded out the package.

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and enjoyed the stay. The rooms are reasonably kept up. The lobby has been recently re-done. The restaurant was never very busy and the meals were appealing both visually and to taste. A cold breakfast was included. There was no charge for parking. It is only a few minutes away from the Bellevue shopping center and has direct routes to the airport and downtown Seattle.

Granted there are not of moderately priced accommodations near the downtown area, but this place could use a serious update. It feels like an old Holiday Inn that has had a slight makeover. My room door did not shut completely, the wall heating cooling unit was noisy, etc. but it was way cheaper that the accommodations across the 205.

Ask for an interior room! This is very important. Even though I had booked in advance, I was given an exterior room which is really more like a cheap motel setup (door and window on walkway). Of course, the price did not reflect that.

Room Tip: Ask for interior room.
