After reading reviews I was skeptical about this hotel, but actually found it to be perfectly comfortable and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and the beds SO COMFY, after a long day of exploring Washington its a better nights sleep than at the Bellevue Hyatt, which we stayed at days later.
Don't be daunted by the crabby reviews!

The photos on the website are nicer than the reality. The rooms we had were smelly (cigarettes? There is a no smoking policy!). The restaurant is bad. Slow service, there was only one waiter who had to do roomservice as well. Magnetron meals. The magnetron was not working well, so our meal was still half frozen when served. When we complained another meal was promised, but it took much too long so we cancelled and had a meal in nearby Denny's.

Stayed for two nights in June 2011. This is a basic hotel, which is ok for you if don't expect much more than a place to sleep. Rooms are ok but the overall feeling is a bit outdated, however at least my room was clean and adequately comfortable. A small fitness room and outdoor pool is available.

The breakfast is really basic, a cup of coffee and juice, some cereals and nothing more.

We attended a convention at the hotel and so did not do much research into it prior. When we arrived it took a second to figure out that the check-in desk is actually a check-in desk. There is little information visible to announce you are at the right place. The staff was nice but seemed overwhelmed at times. When we checked into our room the first thing we noticed was the tight feel of the space, stuffiness, and noisy refrigerator. It was clean enough but definitely not spotless. However, the second day whoever cleaned the room (Consuelo - I believe) did a FANTASTIC job. I was really impressed. The third day, the quality of the cleanliness was about the same as when we arrived - adequate. The bed was a bit lumpy and we needed to run the air conditioning or fan to keep it from being stuffy. We slept alright as a result.

The TV is probably the same as what they put in when the hotel was built. Wireless in the hotel - even in the business rooms was spotty at best. Even when we tried to connect to the wired, we had trouble being assigned an IP address. When we called the front desk to see if others were having a problem they did not seem to know what to do, so they had us call AT&T ourselves which was extremely random and not helpful. Considering we were there on business, we were not impressed with the unsecured wireless and its lack of consistent connection.

In the mornings we had some of the continental breakfast which was basic pastries, carbs and cereal, nothing exceptional. We tried to order lunch but the waitstaff was not able to get our order in a reasonable amount of time (it took 10 min to acknowledge me at the bar) and when we were finally approached we were told it would take 30 min to make a sandwich. The saving grace was the Whole Foods just across the street.

The hotel is just old and it looks it, but for the price we were hoping for a bit more.

This hotel is older, a bit dated, but has been recently updated. The Coast Hotel is centrally located to the 405 frwy/trendy downtown district of Bellevue. FREE parking. Staff was pleasantly helpful. FREE continental breakfast each morning. FREE shuttle to downtown. Full service restaurant. Has an on-site business center with printer. Rooms are comfortable/average in size. Beds are comfortable, (pillow top) equipped with mini fridge which is handy for snacks, with game systems for children. Bathroom plumbing sluggish. Otherwise overall good rating. Saved 25% booking on Expedia rather than directly with hotel. Rate was $75.00 per night.

Room Tip: Book 3 party to save 25%-

Good hotel, easy access to 405.

Had a wedding in Redmond, it was very convenient.

Close to good shopping and restaurants.

Room was clean, parking easy, flat screen TV in room, heated pool.

Room Tip: Get pool view room.

I am not a hotel snob. I typically enjoy hotels in the 3 star range because they are clean, comfortable, usually offer breakfast and internet without nickel and diming you along the way. This hotel is NO 3 star hotel. Internet barely works. The tile in the bathroom had mold growing in it and good luck getting one extra washcloth. I had read reviews that the beds are comfortable and they are if you are the only one sleeping in it. If there are two and one gets up...the matress is so "springy"...it shakes the whole bed. Cross your fingers that you don't have a noisy neighbor because you will hear everything in the rooms next to you. The restaurant is not horrible. I have stayed in Super 8's and Motel 6's that would fall into Priceline's 2 star category that are far superior to this property. My advise...if you are on a budget...bypass this hotel and pay a little extra. Priceline customers...raise your star level to 3.5 stars so you are sure not to have this as your hotel. I still have a night left here and am leaving to stay at the Westin...for 8 dollars more than I am paying here.

Room Tip: Choose 3.5 stars and up on discount travel sites.
