“Best Dumplings in Seattle”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

My favorite dumplings are the juicy pork dumplings and the wantons in special spicy sauce. The tofu salad also is great. The rice cake dishes are also a favorite.

They often have long lines. Either show up a little before 6PM or after 8PM to reduce the wait times. Especially on weekends. While they validate parking, The building makes parking free if you are leaving after 8PM.

I used to have to go to Shanghai to eat Din Tai Feng, so we are happy to have a location in Washington. Bellevue is a long drive for us, so we are glad that they are opening a store in the Seattle in University Village in late 2013.

I love Din Tai Fung - Favorites are the green beans, shu mai, and any dumpling - then top it off with a green tea smoothie with boba.

amazing restaurant!
you can watch how they make your dumplings.

“love their dimsum but hate the wait”

love their dimsum (always fresh and tasty) but the wait is always too long (~ 1 hour). I also hope that they can add more non pork items.

By chance, I found Din Tai Fung while in Bellevue. Watch, as skilled people make dumplings and other delicious dishes. It's worth the long wait to enjoy quality fresh food.
