“Tasty Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

It's hard for me to find a good Vietnamese restaurant where the only item that is Vietnamese on the menu is not the name. At Monsoon, the food is fresh, good, tasty, and more importantly, it is out of the ordinary (compared to the other so-called Vietnamese places). I sure will want to come back, and try their other dishes. I am hooked!

“Swooning for Monsoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

I would give this place an excellent rating except for the disappointingly SMALL portions. Sorry, guys, but high-end food need not be petite. We loved the food that we did get; service was spectacular; and the ambiance was nice, though I doubt it will be captured in Architectural Digest. We loved the cocktails too. Just pricey and small servings but delicious food all the same. The wagu beef was nice but the wraps (butter lettuce) was not robust enough to hold its contents which made for a messy (and pricey) experience. Errol was great! Amazing service!

“Best Happy Hour in town!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Me and my friends are always in the look out of good deals when it comes to happy hour places, Monsoon is one of our favorites not only because they offer the happy hour for extended periods of time but also because the food is really good an pretty low prices! I love the shrimp papaya salad and the Yukon cakes! Only caveat, the happy hour area is rather small so if the place is full, be sure that you'll wait from 30 minutes to over an hour to be seated :(

“Awesome ambience, delicious & creative food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

Went there for lunch with colleagues without expecting much and discovered a totally awesome restaurant to go to. The ambience is very nice and welcoming and I'd recommend it for a date night etc. Menu is short but very creative with vegetarian options also. Don't miss the non-alcoholic drinks they serve, totally delicious and amazing.

“Very disappointing service and food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

Poor service, waitress rude, server seemed bored, food served not as described on menu. Had been previously, but something has changed. Just not good and we don't like being ignored when in a restaurant. A papaya salad came as white, crunchy and bitter strings. Waitress said it was green papaya. Why doesn't menu say that? Who wants bitter green papaya? There are plenty of really good dining options on Main Street, but Monsoon East is not one of them!
