This is a great hotel. Location wise, it's just off of the 405 freeway and access to the hotel is quite easy. While easy to access from the interstate, it isn't really located close to shopping or dining but if you have a car, you can drive up to Bellevue Square or the downtown Bellevue area. They also have a free shuttle that will bring you places within a 2 mile radius, but we did not use that service.

Parking is a bit of an issue at this hotel when there are alot of guests. We arrived after 10:30pm on a Sat, and the underground lot was almost completely full. I was lucky to get a spot though but most of the parking spaces are very narrow. So, for those of you that have larger vehicles, you may want to beware of that or park across the street at the park and ride lot, which is free. Otherwise, parking is $10.

Check in was relatively quick and friendly.

If you are driving, make sure you check in first as you will not be able to access the underground parking without a room key.

We had breakfast at this hotel both the mornings that we were there. Selection was good. One morning we had: scrambled eggs, hash browns, make your own waffles, rice, miso soup, bacon, toast, pastries, fruits, etc. There was also a good selection of drinks: milk, 3 kinds of juices, hot coffee in pump containers, water

The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen and table, pull out sofa bed, and large bathroom area. We stayed in a studio with myself, my wife and little boy sharing a room. Our room faced north on the 4th floor and it was unaffected by any road noise. We could see downtown Bellevue on our left and the interstate 405 on our right. The parking structure was right below us.

If you are using the pull out sofa bed, it's not the most comfortable way to sleep and you will also have to find a place to put the large 1 piece seat cushion, coffee table and pillows. I moved all the excess into the kitchen area. The single chair in the living room also reclines. Look for the switch on the right hand side covered by the arm rest protector.

The Wifi was strong and we were using 3 Wifi devices. Also lots of power ports in the room to plug in your phone, ipad, laptop, camera charger, etc.

I didn't see an ice machine, but the fridge makes ice.

The 32 inch tv had both sd and hd channels but only my little boy used it to watch cartoons in the morning.

Stayed only 2 night the room was very comfortable and roomy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lobby very well lite and lots of room to lounge or eat breakfast. Room was large with a full kitchen and a very nice homely feel. Breakfast was average. Paid parking stall was a little
small not made for a full size car. Over all a very nice place well worth the price. Very good location to Bellevue.

Room Tip: Lobby floor with a view nature preserve behind the hotel

Stayed two nights. Staff asked me where in the hotel I would like to be. I said somewhere quiet. He put me in the first floor below the lobby with windows looking out at ground level on the nature preserve behind the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. The room was larger than average. Everything was clean. The bed was a very comfortable king. The whole feeling of the room was spacious and peaceful.

We did use the exercise room. They have nice cardio machines in good condition. Weight equipment is sparse.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a cut-above for a free breakfast hotel.

Really do not have anything negative to say about this hotel.

My husband and I have been to the Residence Inn in Bellevue at least 4 times. The rooms are always clean, comfortable bed, the service excellent, provides a buffet breakfast and love the fact that they have kitchenettes.

I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Bellevue area - especially if you have a family.

We traveled to Bellevue for a business trip last week and stayed at the Residence Inn Seattle Bellevue/Downtown based on the reviews on Tripadvisor along with the great room rates being offered, and what a great choice it was! The rooms were amazing! Lots of elbow room, nicely appointed with stainless appliances including a dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, granite countertops, sofa, recliner, and a king sized bed. The bid was firm but comfortable, and the room we had faced a protected wetland area right in the heart of downtown Bellevue! There was a Starbucks in the lobby and the morning buffet style breakfast was delicious. There was a parking garage provided (at an extra cost) which I thought would be a pain, but we never had difficulty finding parking and it had fast, easy access to the lobby. Freeway access was great. Staff was incredibly nice. The only complaint I had was the ventilation system in the room sounds like constant running water, but it was just a minor annoyance. Other than that, we were ready to move in permanently!

Room Tip: 105 was fantastic!

First, let me state that I do like a comfortable room/bed to sleep in, that is my idea of "camping".

Rooms: Very spacious, very practical, modern, warm colors. Not the rectangle you get in most hotels. Areas for eating, working and sleeping. Rooms have kitchen area with cooking and eating utensils, refrigerator, dishwasher and little details like paper towels provided and replenished by the hotel. Bathrooms are clean, practical, everything works, they have all of the amenities including conditioner separate from the shampoo (again, the little details). The bed is very good. The sofa bed is ok as sofa beds go, easy to pull out and set up. Everything is provided for setting the second (sofa)bed up, you don't have to ask for it. Definitely quieter and nicer view towards the back of the hotel.

Service: Have had every little request/problem solved, immediately. Not that there were many. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception and breakfast/dinner area. Good bedroom/cleaning service, actually experienced a supervisor directly overseeing the work one of the days.

Food: Breakfast is very good, food is fresh, there is enough variety for everybody, coffee is good (and available all day). Dinner/snack/complimentary wine included Monday through Wednesday 6:00 to 7:30 pm, very fresh salads with all sorts of things to add to it, and dinner food such as hamburgers, tortillas or sloppy joes, soups, varied and very good. Also crackers and cheese and something sweet. We looked forward to having dinner at the hotel. Apples free all over the hotel for a healthy snack.

Extras: Pool is clean, and just the right temperature, though not large, made for doing laps and for families to play in, works well for both. Well equipped, clean towels. Excercise room is well equipped. Machines have TV's attached, and free headphones available in the room. Individual floor mats, apples, disinfectant, water cooler, clean towels. Again, lots of nice details. Laundry Room has enough washers and dryers to accommodate everybody. Everything looks fairly new. 1 dollar for washer, 1 dollar for drier. Detergent and softener dispensers in room.
Lobby area is pleasant and invites just hanging out, TV´s and different areas to sit at. Two computers with a printer available for printing.

Parking: 10 dollars extra per night, but your car should be safe. Covered, and exclusive, you need your room card to get in. Smaller-Compact spaces clearly marked. Plenty of parking.

Location: Right off of the SE 8th Exit from 405, (but far enough away so that you are not directly next to the freeway), it is 2 mins. from downtown Bellevue, and you can connect to go anywhere directly from 405. Location is very good.

I recommend this hotel highly, we have been here for 15 nights and so far everything has been very good, still have a few more nights before we go home.

Room Tip: "View" rooms are quieter, and actually have a nice view.

We reserved a room in a block set aside for an anniversary party. The room was very large with a fully equipped kitchen. It would be good for a long stay, they even had a form you could fill out to have them do the grocery shopping for you. We did not go into Seattle but it looked simple enough to get there as we were near I405. The hotel was clean and well cared for. I liked the shuttle service which would take you within 2 miles. We used it to go to dinner and the movies.
The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety. Nothing cooked to order, but certainly more than adequate. I did resent the $10.00/day parking fee. There are no businesses nearby that would use their parking lot, so the charge seemed unnecessary.
