Residence Inn Seattle Bellevue

We have stayed at this property many times, first time reviewing. First of all, this property is more affordable than the downtown location, and rooms are bigger. It has free parking with easy access to 520 that hooks up to I-405. It is also located in a very quiet neighborhood, unlike the downtown location that has many rooms facing the freeway.

The property is older but continued to be updated. Breakfast room can be busy, but has a good variety. We especially enjoy the large bathroom countertop and dressing area. Kind of hard to come by in the newer hotels.

The only negative thing encountered on this stay was that we were given a lower floor unit, even though we are Gold status member and requested high floor. The person above us walked around quite a bit. The noise is noticeable. The next morning we wanted to sleep in, as we were out very late the night before. However the housekeeping crew started their day around 9:00 am so that ended our quiet time.

Room Tip: Get high floor if you can. Lower unit is subject to the traffic upstairs.

Good 2 bedroom (actually a loft) unit perfect for family. Outside a little worn. No hot tubs, but small pool. I've been to better Residece inns but...still good choice. Good breakfast but sometimes overwhelmed with crowds. Need to improve that.

I travel to Bellevue for business just about every week. I've chosen the Residence Inn in Bellevue (not the one downtown but the one closer to Redmond) as my home away from home. The things I appreciate about this hotel the most:
1) Wood burning fireplace in every room... nothing like a long day of work then starting a fire to relax
2) The feeling of not being at a 'hotel' but feeling of a condo style accommodation
3) The staff is extremely helpful... I have been dealing with Cassie Wharton, Residence Inn Sales Manager, to book my reservations. She is very helpful and ensures I get the reservations that I need booked.

Great place to stay!

This Residence Inn is a very well maintained, safe, quiet and recently renovated property. Very convenient to the highway. There are many small stairways to the main building, and the second floor rooms are only accessible by a staircase. so if you have difficulty navigating steps, let the front desk know so that your room is accessible. Staff were especially welcoming and helpful. You won't be disappointed. The manager's evening reception is generous and nicely presented. The breakfast was better than most and had a wide range of food selections. I would be happy to return to this facility.

Room Tip: Let management know if you have trouble walking up steps.

My husband and I, along with 14 other family members, recently stayed at the Residence Inn Bellevue when in town for a wedding. I was floored by the exceptional service that we received every step of the way. We wanted to stay one night beyond the nights designated for our special wedding rate; the gentleman I spoke with went out of his way to help us find the best possible rate for that night and then offered us late check-out if we needed it. Once we arrived at the hotel, the great service continued. EVERYONE was not only professional, courteous and helpful ... but genuinely friendly. We also loved our room. We've stayed at other hotels designed for long-term stays and we liked this room better than any others. While we didn't cook during our stay, we certainly could have. And we very much enjoyed having a fully-outfitted kitchen for snacks and lunch fare. The children in our party loved both the pool and the basketball court. It was very eash for us to drive to downtown Seattle in about 20 miinutes. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fabulous--and affordable--option in the Seattle area.

Our girls soccer team recently stayed here. The staff was amazing and bent over backwards to make sure our stay went smoothly. Their attitude of "we will do whatever if takes" is unparalleled in the industry. We won the soccer tournament, in part because everything went so smoothly at the hotel. They even bought us some championship pizza!

We stayed here the evening we arrived in Seattle area on our way to Mt. Rainier. There were 5 of us in our party, so this is a less expensive solution to 2 hotel rooms. Stayed in a 2 bedroom loft suite. We were easily able to go downtown with our car & explore the Space Needle & Chihuly Exhibit & Gardens (don't miss this!). Rooms were a little smaller than other Residence Inns we have stayed in, but it worked for us. The desk staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The complimentary breakfasts (which made our stay even more economical), were very good. Didn't get to swim in the pool, but it looked clean & well maintained. My only recommendation is that they replace the furniture in the living room, it was kind of wearing. The sleeper sofa was very springy, I think a new mattress would be in order. Other beds were comfy, though.

Room Tip: If you have to use sleeper sofa, try other accomodations.
