“Great hotel!”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

The Hyatt is in such a great spot. Can walk to the mall and restaurants over the Sky Bridge. We love Bellevue, has every store and restaurant you could want. It's clean and feels so safe. The Hyatt is superb!! Beautiful lobby, great rooms and great value!

If you like a great hotel that is across the street from the upscale Bellevue Square and walking distance to tons of eating places, bars and shopping this is a great place if you like a place that feels like a mix of downtown Seattle and a suburban mini city. Bellevue has a great reputation and it lacks the challenge of homeless people begging at street corners or areas that attract less then the safest of people. In other words..day and or night it is a very safe place to walk around even alone in my opinion. The night clubs in the hotel were rocking and they had a great band and the women were very pretty and lots of them...so it seemed to be one of the better places to be in the area for night life...
When in town this is a great place to stay
Hyatt's rooms are always great and it is upscale without feeling snobby

Room Tip: one of the best places to stay in Bellevue, Washington

Food, shopping and quiet comfort all in one place! In the heart of Bellevue, the mall is right across the street, and more great restaurant choices then you will ever need. We walked to a nice dinner. Rooms were quiet and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good stay!

I stayed a week in the Hyatt Regency Bellevue and got a room on the 22nd floor. The room itself was very nice with two beds, an armchair, working area and floor-to-ceiling windows. Only thing I couldn't really fathom was the air conditioning controls, only thing I managed to do was turn up the heat. Sleep quality was excellent given the very comfortable king size bed and total silence. I didn't hear practically any noise nor from traffic nor from other rooms. The hotel breakfast was pretty limited, especially when comparing to European hotels of the same size. As a plus the Tully's coffeeshop was convenient in grabbing a quick coffee or snack. Of course there were also several other restaurants and bars in case you don't want to go further. Being on a business trip with a tight schedule I also valued the close distance to Bellevue Place for more dining options and shopping.

Difficult to find from the street level and with a Byzantine underground parking garage, this is a fairly newly-refurbished property with a sumptuous lobby within the Wintergarden complex with a prime downtown location rivalled only by the adjacent Westin.

Lying at the heart of the shop-till-you-drop Bellevue Collection triad of downtown upscale malls, it is connected to two of them via Skybridges and a brisk couple of blocks' walk away from the luxurious third, the Bravern.

A goodly selection of decent-to-fine dining spots are available in the Bellevue Collection itself as well as within two-to-three blocks' distance in all directions. The central art museum is likewise close by.

The front desk is quite hospitable, the service staff helpful and the hotel amenities are above par.

This is a perfect sojourners' lodging for business travellers and vacationers.

The only negative is that the property apparently allows pets.

Room Tip: Go for a corner Executive Suite on an upper floor (15 and above), non-smoking.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The service was efficient, the food very good, the meetings excellently set up. I would recommend the property to anyone.
I particularly liked the services available that were not aprt of the hotel, such as the fast food on the second floor.
Only complaint, and this applies to a lot of US hotels, why do you only offer the Wall St Journal, and a local newspaper, and not the NY Times? Do liberals scare you that much?

It was about 10th time I stayed in this hotel. I choose it most often because of good location, despite some issues with it.

Pros: Great location, you can get to Bellevue shopping center w/o walking out the front door. Good restaurants close by (Daniel's Broiler, new Tim Sum place, Bellevue Place restaurants), friendly Staff, coffee shop inside of hotel.
Cons: swimming pool in next building, you have to walk out the building - last time I was there pool was closed due to renovation, rooms a bit smelly, bar in the lobby does not accept bills to be put on the room.
