“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2008

Stayed there for a weekend shopping getaway, and location was minutes from Bellevue Square Mall, our shopping destination. The property was non-descript, but the room was quite spacious and clean. We always try and stay at Starwood Properties, but we would definitely stay there again for the next shopping trip.

Good business type hotel, nothing really special, good beds, very small bathroom, standard services, staff was good but not outstanding.
No free breakfast but got a great rate at 85.00.
Broken hinge on the TV cabinet and I always wonder why the maids never seem to see these things.

I stayed at the Sheraton Bellevue Hotel for business. The rooms are ok but obviously older. The bathrooms need to be seriously updated. Rooms are mediocre yet clean - bed very comfortable. If you stay on the business floors they have a very nice complimentary breakfast which is included. The greatest asset the hotel has is its staff. They are polite and eager to help.

The Sheraton Bellevue is an excellent property that has been nicely updated. The rooms are very comfortable with nice bathrooms, furniture and beds. High speed wireless is available for a reasonable charge. It is conveniently located with easy freeway access and believe it or not, on a fairly quiet street. We very much enjoyed everything about the Sheraton!

  • Liked — Stylish, comfortable, clean and the location.
  • Disliked — Room service food was not the best but fair.

I loved the Sheraton Bellevue Hotel. The lobby was so nice and clean and even smelled divine. I stayed on a club level and the room was appointed lovely and even reasonably priced. I had two puppies with me and the Sheraton is a pet friendly hotel. The staff was so nice to me and provided my puppies with dog beds, bowls for water and food complete with a placemat! They even gave me a gift bag that contained gloves and baggies to clean up after the dogs (which I did use). I would highly recommend this hotel to others; especially if you have a dog.

We booked this hotel as it was close to Seattle and offered some value with breakfast and a romance package included. When we booked, we already knew we would be arriving last from Vancouver due to a dinner we needed to attend.

We checked in effortlessly due to our SPG Gold membership, but when we arrived at our room the key did not work in the door.

We went back down to the front desk, overstepping the glob of stuff in the elevator and had our card re keyed.

When we entered the room, the romance package items were on the desk. It consisted of a bottle of “Champagne”, some fruit, and two cookies. We noted that the Champagne promised when booking the room was some Spanish Sparkling Wine – not Champagne.

We basically fell into bed.

When we arose the next morning, we noticed the mold & mildew on the ceiling above the AC unit. We also noticed the faucet was not secured to the sink in the bathroom and the air filter in the bathroom completely plugged. As we were not staying additional nights, we decided to notify the front desk on the way out rather than interrupt our departure routine.

We ordered the in-room breakfast at 10:30. It was standard fare of an omelette & toast and an order of scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. At 11:05 we received a call, presumably from the restaurant, that our meal would be on its way in 3 or 4 minutes.

A few minutes after waiting, a knock sounded on our door. Prior to getting to the door, the housekeeper was already in the room.

At 11:25 our breakfast finally arrived. A mere 55 minutes. No problem with anything not being cooked or cold. Everything was hot. It has been under a heat lamp for some time. The eggs were completely rubbery and the pancakes could not be cut with the knife and fork – rolling and chewing off an end seemed to work.

When checking out, we advised the desk of our displeasure of the room and the breakfast. Rather than discounting the room additional points were added to our SPG account.

We would be unlikely to revisit this hotel.

Just got back from 3 nights in this Sheraton property. Here is the good....Beds and front desk. The front desk was very accomodating and had a refridgerator put in my room. Also, the beds were very comfortable and I slept well.

Now the Bad...
We paid $144/night (I know I could have gotten a better deal, but this was booked by a secretary at work) for what I consider a very average room. Bathroom was in major need of work with wall paper peeling at the seams in numerous locations. Bath tub had holes which were filled with some type of caulking. Overall I'd call the property tired.

Location is right up against the freeway..no view to speak of...however window perform well in terms of noise. Its not really close to much except the convention center, but if thats your goal or you want to be closer to their downtown, I'd suggest the Marriott Courtyard. We even heard that the Red Lyon Inn, just down the street was a nicer property from someone in our party that stayed in both hotels on different nights.
