“Great business hotel”
Reviewed September 26, 2011

Don't judge until you are inside. The rooms are very nice, the lobby and service was very good. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, businesses, and shopping. Right next to the freeway - but not close enough to hear it. Makes it easy to get into downtown Seattle, Eastern and Northern side of seattle as well without dealing with the traffic on I-5. Will stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the front of the hotel (away from the freeway).

Reliable, clean hotel (no complaints at all). But what really impressed us were the two ladies at the front desk. One drove us herself in the hotel shuttle to meet the pulic transportation (which in Seattle is AMAZING!). The other helped us figure out how to put ourselves and our rental car on the ferry. Wasnt expecting such personalized service in a large hotel, but they delivered!!

A very decent hotel. The service is excellent. The young ladies at the front desk were very helpful in accomodating us. We had two special requests and they honored them both, and did so with the most pleasant attitude. Late check out was granted as well. This hotel received a face lift not too long ago. However, the condition of the hotel left a little to be desired. Our room (top floor) had a window that wasn't sealed properly and let the outside air in. Also, the hallways had a "funny" odor. Those were the only two complaints, and they weren't huge dealbreakers for me. Bellevue is beautiful and the hotel is very close to the nice parts to go without being right on top of it. I would stay again.

We stayed here many times a year as it is close to Vancouver. Great place for getaways. With the BCAA rate, prices are very reasonable. Close to all key restaurants including PF Changs and Maggianos (great italian restaurant). The Bellevue mall is great too. My kids love the lucky strike bowling and arcade center. You can either take shuttle or drive and park at the mall. Walking distance to everything once you park. This hotel unfortunately doesn't have a pool. Club lounge great too for breakfast and evening appies.

Stayed here for one night on a recent business trip. The hotel is located very close to downtown Bellevue so there is lots of shopping/eating nearby (not walking distance though) and it is close to the highway.
The room are typical Sheraton quality and decor and I had no problems whatsoever with any aspects of the stay. I left early in the morning and did not take advantage of the lounge or restaurant.

This recently renovated Sheraton covers all the most important bases for any traveler needing a reliable and welcoming place to rest: a clean and attractive guest room (cheerful nautical decor in dark blues and crisp whites against cherry wood furniture) with a comfortable bed (with excellent linens) and good shower (with excellent water pressure and temperature). The guest room is also thoughtfully designed with ample space for storage, for working, and for relaxing -- as well as extra touches like bathrobes and handsome hardware/fixtures/lighting that I'm not always seeing at Sheraton-level Starwood properties. Check-in with an outstanding reception clerk was a nice start, and free parking is a bonus for the many who may choose this hotel for its convenient location just off the 405 freeway and near several corporate headquarters.

Again: this place covers the most crucial hotel elements. As for taking it to the next level, not so much. Two small items in the guest bathroom were in need of repair, and the hairdryer was so gooey and hairy that we asked for a replacement. The clock radio was set an hour ahead, even though Daylight Saving was several months ago. There isn't much of a main lobby (a notable exception: there are several nice computer terminals offering guests one hour of free access), and the club-level lounge was not what you typically get when paying for club-level. The club lounge offers just breakfast and an evening reception -- both with limited hours (once the clock strikes, it's over and staff don't even leave the coffee and tea) and food that's mostly worth skipping (think "Holiday Inn"). You also have to purchase beer and wine.

So if you have business or family in the Bellevue area, go for this Sheraton but go out to eat and explore downtown Bellevue and Kirkland. This hotel is also a viable alternative to comparably priced Seattle hotels if you have a car (20 minutes from Bellevue to downtown Seattle)... There is a lot of beauty in this area, and you shouldn't limit yourself to Seattle-waterfront tourist traps.
