One of those local watering holes that reveals local charm-- friends gathering around coffee cups and bakery treats--that is popular with locals and tourists alike. Baked goods are not cheap, but are delicious, my family buys their bread here on a regular basis, that is, when it is not sold out.
Brewed coffee is "Herkimer" brand, and very good. You can buy the coffee beans or grind by the pound or half pound, but at a premium price. Service is slow (compared to rival Starbucks), but the place is nearly always crowded. I dont believe it is handicapped accesible, except for outdoor seating, which is delightful in good weather. If they had wireless, people wouldn't leave, and there would never be seating. Instead, people actually talk to each other. If only my neighborhood in Syracuse had such a place!
