“Great room”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We got the queen suite and it was great. Separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. It was very quiet but it was also a Monday night. Very clean rooms and polite staff. Had a larger mini-fridge and microwave. Location was great...only a mile from our favorite pub in WA, The Harbour Public House. Less than a mile to the ferry over to Seattle.

Spent two nights at this property and all aspects were excellent. Room is spacious, immaculate, well designed layout, including mini-fridge and microwave. Breakfast was the usual offerings, plus sausage and eggs, but fresh and well-presented. Parking is a plus, as the hotel has an underground garage operated by your room key, which would be a great benefit in stormy weather. Staff are all welcoming, and want to make your stay comfortable, offering any additional help they can. Dogs are welcome at this property, so for those traveling with their family pet, this is a step up from many dog-friendly hotels. Since my husband has family on Bainbridge Island, this will be our hotel of choice when visiting. Bravo to Staff and Management!

Room Tip: We were on the top floor, which was quiet.

Stayed here with teenage family for 2 nights in July. It is well located (although a bit of a walk from the ferry, particularly if you have bags). Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. The only thing that could be improved is the (free) breakfast, which is only so-so. Overall, definitely a great place to stay and I will come back there.

My husband and I are traveling across country for 8 weeks with our dog. We chose this hotel because it is dog friendly. It is a clean hotel with a friendly staff. It was a rather bland stay. The room, with kitchen area, was very nice. The breakfast was not very interesting. There is no view of the sound even though you are right near the ferry landing. You overlook a main st or the woods. We enjoyed exploring the island.

We came for a one night stay on Bainbridge Island. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
For breakfast I suggest the local bakeries, skip the free and not fresh food.

We really enjoyed this our stay. Staff went out of their way to help us find things. The bed is so comfy it's hard to get up. Breakfast was worth getting up for. Waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. The free underground parking and internet makes it a good value as well. The cons would have to be that it's not by the water and there is no shuttle. We took a romantic walk in the rain to get to the restaurants and shops by the harbor but it may be too far for some. I highly recommend The Harbour Public House pub. It's a historical spot with lots of character, good food, and friendly staff. It is a small place that gets crowded during meal times but well worth it. The strawberry rhubarb martini is yummy.
