While I wouldn't necessarily call this poor, it is sub-par. I did not have exceptionally high expectations, knowing I was booking a cheap hotel for one night, but it could have been better. First, I paid extra for a "mountain view" room, of which there are none. Rear rooms face the rear parking lot and trees at the back of the property, front rooms face the road and other buildings. Try as we might, we were completely unable to locate any "mountain view" whatsoever. Maybe there was once a view from the rear rooms...30 years ago before the trees grew?? Secondly, we've stayed in motels in this price range that could pass a white glove test. This definitely did not. While the basics were clean, it needed additional work. I don't want to guess when the dust bunnies were last vacuumed from under the bed. Water spots/streaks on the bathroom door and walls could be wiped down; they were quite noticeable. Lastly, they offered Sunny D as a substitute for orange juice. Breakfast time is much too early in the day for such an unpleasant surprise. These things being said, there are a number of good points: There is easy access to and from the expressway, the parking lots were well lit, and the bed was comfortable. The property was pretty full yet quiet, the staff was nice, and the wifi worked. And even though they tried to kill me with Sunny D, they did make an attempt at a very basic continental breakfast. I recommend for one night if you are passing through, but not for anything more.

Man at the desk was extremely unfriendly and rude. This is not a pet friendly motel, and I would say based on his rudeness, not even a human friendly motel. There are too many others in this same block- don't even bother with this one. Red Roof Inn for example was same price, across the street, offers breakfast and pet and human friendly.

The room was clean, but small and very out dated. It was a good place to stay if you need a quick place to sleep overnight. The price was great if you don't want to pay a lot. It was quiet and comfortable. Wifi was poor. I don't recommend the Bob Evans Restaurant next door for a late evening meal...bad service.

Room tip: If you need wifi, skip this hotel.

Overall, this is a clean hotel but is not anything that you would look at for luxury. The place seems slightly outdated, with a deeply sloped tub and rust lurking in the corners of the shower door. It's small but useful and gets the job done. If you are looking for a good deal on a hotel for one night, like we were, this will work, but if you're in for luxury, don't even bother.

Don't expect luxury here but you can expect clean, comfortable lodging at a great price. The gentleman at the reception desk was very helpful when locating a place for dinner - I wound up eating at Ruby Tuesdays a couple of miles away . Breakfast was pretty basic.
