My husband and I have just returned from our 4th stay at The Inn at Narrow Passage and had a great visit. Breakfast changes daily and is always delicious. We spent two nights and enjoyed french toast/sausage on one morning and blueberry pancakes/bacon on the next. Ed and Ellen are wonderful innkeepers and are always willing to offer ideas for activities and provide directions.
The Inn is located on the Shenandoah river which is my husband's favorite part. He fishes each morning while I shop at the local antique stores and specialty shops. We hike in the afternoon, enjoy dinner at the Hotel Strasburg and if time permits ride go carts and play putt-putt at a local spot within a mile of the inn.
Last but not least, if you are driving from the Richmond area, we recommend the Skyline Drive. After ten years of looking for a bear on all of our adventures, we finally saw one on our trip home.
Hope your experience is as good as ours!
