We ran across Dixie Bones by accident one rainy night on our way to Georgia. What a find!!!! The service was great, the food amazing. Once we walked inside the aroma told us we were in for a treat. The pies greeted us from behind the glass case and a kind woman in an American flag jacket smiled too. The menu tells you about the restaurant and what makes it special, from how they smoke the meat to the cornbread and pies prepared on site daily. Let's not forget the three kinds of BBQ sauce. The decor is country with law enforcement and fire fighters patches from all over the USA. We will go out of our way to eat here in the future. It was a blessing to find it the first time. We will be back many more visits!
