This is an old fashioned minor league ball park. I mean that in a good way because I feel nostalgic for the closeness of the stands to the field. The team is a High A affiliate of the nearby Washington Nationals and major stars can be seen here during their rehabilitation from injuries.
Concessions are reasonable and specialty items are available. Dollar Mondays are the best promotion, especially on Memorial Day and Labor Day home games. General admission and some concessions cost a dollar. Avoid July 4th because it is a major traffic jam after the fireworks show. Don't wait too long. A new stadium is already planned.
