A nice look into the life of Patsy Cline! It's not a big house but the tour guides have much infomation and stories about Patsy and her family. They have a small gift shop area. We were in Lexington and on our way back to Pennsylvania and stopped, it was well worth it!

Don't miss this glimpse of life in the late 50's and 60's as you walk thru her home she shared w/her Momma and siblings. It brought back memories of my youth...furniture from the 50's...anyone remember the rage of "blond furniture" .... upright piano......treadle "Singer" sewing machine??? well, it's all there for you to view....Enjoy! p.s. no restrooms, one flight of stair to the bedroom...no elevators...

This was a nice tour with a great host but I was disappointed to find out that Pasty Cline actually spent very little time living there. The rooms contained a mixture of actual items and period pieces and were interesting from a historical stand point. I thought the cost was a little high for what you actually saw. There was an audio tape played of Patsy that was interesting but should be put onto a CD in order to preserve the tape, especially since it is played for every tour.

Note: As with many historical sites, this site doesn't appear to be very wheelchair friendly. There is a ramp for entry into the "family room" for the main presentation but the doorways to adjoining rooms are narrow and the stairs going upstairs are steep and the upstairs room very small.
