“Five Forks not five star.”

We tried this restaurant based on the reviews. It was average at best. Coffee was weak. Fine for your average local diner.

“Best Breakfast in Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

I like breakfast, so I've tried many places in town. This is by far the best place I've found. The food is cooked in an open kitchen and the food is of high quality and comes out nice and hot. Service is pretty quick, and the staff is nice. There's counter seating overlooking the kitchen, and also some booths.

The décor is a bit dated, the tile floor has been in place so long the finish is worn from foot traffic. But it reflects the basic yet very good food, service and atmosphere.

The restaurant is fairly small, and the parking lot even more so, although there's more parking in areas a bit further away. The café is popular so try to avoid the rush.

“Great breakfast”

This small cafe was just the kind of breakfast joint we love. Excellent food, local people. Delicious omelets.

“Average food at a decent price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013 via mobile

I had the open face turkey sandwich. It was not the best I had but it was good. They do not have sweet tea, which was disappointing. A lunch meal for two was under $25. The restaurant is in poor condition, which may impact a diners experience.

“YUCK!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

We went here after reading the reviews on trip advisor and after seeing that they had won dinner of the year in 2012. Well this is 2013 and if they are the best, breakfast seekers in Williamsburg are in trouble. The building itself is dingey, as if you are eating in a garage. The staff was pleasant but I wasn't there to socialize but to have a good meal. I would probably stick to IHOP next time around.
