“ALWAYS SPECTACULAR!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

John Gonzales and the Crew at A Chef's Kitchen are incredible! The entire experience is top notch and the food is always spectacular. It is amazing to watch them create their culinary masterpieces consistently and in such an entertaining manner. The wine pairings are always spot on without costing a fortune. We always leave with a case of vino and very full bellies. This is one of those very special occasions that I always look forward to weeks in advance...which is how you better book your reservation, by the way! Thanks for always being fantastic, A.C.K.Team!

“Not just a show but a real demo, great dinner”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

Chef John and staff do a first class job of making a very fine dinner and actually teaching techniques. It is not the same as a small technique class...they are making dinner for you as they go....but it is not just fluff talk, there is real culinary science talked about here. The food was excellent and the supplied recipes will be used in our house for sure. There was not one section of the meal that I did not like. The wines are extremely affordable for purchase. If it means anything to you we are booked to go again in January. And it is no small thing to say that both chef's are fast on their feet in both talk and prep....a humorous point of view while keeping true to their very deep training and commitment to fine food with an eye toward good ingredients and locally focused purchasing. Just go! You will love it.

“Unique, enjoyable experience”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Had the dinner class here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had front row seating so had a bird's eye view of the food preparation and Chef John. Extremely entertaining and informative. Very humorous approach, and learned a lot of valuable tips. Then the food and drink: amazing wine pairings and excellent soup, salad, fish, and venison entree. Didn't have room for the chocolate cream pie for dessert, by my husband ate it!

“Just not as great as I remembered”
Reviewed November 16, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I recently returned after almost two years and, while we had a great time and enjoyed our meal, it was just not all that we remembered it to be. We felt like there was significantly less demonstration of how to actually prepare the food being served, which is really the part we liked so much. We still enjoyed all of the $10 wines and a dinner with friends, but we did leave feeling just a little dusappointed. Maybe we just missed Sam...
