My wife and I like to browse through antique shops looking for something that is unusual and special. We were there for about two hours and picked up some small stuff. Right before we were getting ready to leave,we spotted a metal peacock, with country colors and made of scrap metal. It was that kind of something that hits you and you cannot leave it until you buy it. That is the good feeling I think you want when you go to places like this. Go there with an open mind and you won't be disappointed!

...And I thought I've seen everything! There are 45,000 sq. ft. of dealer space. Over 400 dealers & rows & rows of antiques, collectibles & selective reproductions. We found & bought a retro ice cream scooper, 70's tea pot & a bust of nefertetee. Everything was reasonably priced. I must say this is the best antique mall ever!

We went to the Williamsburg Antique Mall for the only open day we had while attending a "cousins reunion" in Williamsburg. We were amazed at the shear size of the facility! We waundered up and down row after row of very well displayed items! The only problem was leaving behind the many large items we discovered because we simply only had so much room in the car! We did find quite a number of smaller items to take back with us to Florida! We wish we had had another day to tour the mall... We stopped at the Tea Room for a snack and only good things can be said about the tea, the soup (squash...yummy) and the scones, plus the wonderful service by the owner and her daughter! The service at the mall check out was great too! Some of the items we bought came with a discount ... everyone loves a bargain! Our items were very well packaged for the trip home and the bill printout is a great record of what we bought! Surely hope and wish a return to this mall is in our future!

We live an hour away and travel to spend the day every few months.
There is plenty to see for any collector--books, china, furniture, dolls, toys, I could go on and on. We only recently discovered the Tea Room. The owner is a delight and prepares the most delicious food. You must try the sangria tea. The chicken salad sandwich was wonderful. We also indulged in dessert...lemon cake and something decadent that was chocolate. The food is healthy and organic. My kids are still talking about it. Never had food so good. One warning...the Tea Room only takes cash so be prepared. :)

I am an avid 'Antiquer' and have shopped for them throughout the US and Eastern Europe...not bragiing just giving my level of exposure/experience. Although I really loved the venue, size and variey (NOT full of revolutionary-ish knock offs as I feared) and I really enjoyed lunch at the Tea Room, paying and negotiating was an exercise in bad policy as the store did not discount nor encourageDdEALERS TO DISCOUNT..
We purchased a clock and several pieces of McCoy and would have purchased more IF the saleswoman and the attached POLICY was not so rigid. When we asked if there was 'any play' in the stated price, which was overpriced for these items by approx. 15%, she stated, "These Dealers do not discount. As a matter of fact over 50% of our dealers rely on us to price right and do not discount."
Our reply was, "That's to bad because part of the thrill of the hunt is feeling like you get a break in stated price, whether it is a true deal or not."
She pinched up her face and wrapped up the items that we DID get a discount on.
To bad that is the policy of over 50% of the dealers or we WOULD HAVE parted with considerable MORE inventory...but, on principle did not.
