The Mongolian Grill alone is worth our 3.5 hour drive to Williamsburg. We have been eating there for over 15 years and we have never had a bad meal and we have never had bad service. Of course I should mention that my love for Mongolian BBQ began in the 70's while making stops in Taipei Taiwan, so where ever we go, I look for a restaurant that has a Mongolian Grill. For those who do not know about Mongolian BBQ, it is a selection of raw meats and vegetables that the diner can choose from and then add the sauces of their choice before the Mongolian Chef cooks the meal you created on a large, round Mongolian Grill while you watch in amazement. When in Williamsburg, Virginia, give it a try. Since you choose what goes into your dish, you get a unique bowl of food specifically for your palate.

Lots of selections, fresh food.

They cover 8 different ethnic types of food (at least). Really enjoyed the sushi. Thai was good too.

Price is average for a buffet, throw in the wide selection, this makes it a great value.

Worth your effort.

Tucked into the corner of a shopping center, you wouldn't expect the vibrant decor and expansive array of food. Upon entering the restaurant, there is an elaborate wall decorated in Asian apparel, statues, and more. There is a Mongolian grill where you can fill a bowl with a wide array of noodles, vegetables, meats (like steak, crab, shrimp, calamari, chicken), and sauces and watch as chefs quickly cook your mix in a dramatic display on a large grill.

The buffet itself features more than just your standard Chinese food. You could load your plate with pad Thai, sweet sour chicken, and caramelized banana sushi all within a few steps from one another. In fact, there are all kinds of sushi available on one of those rotating displays. The staff was very friendly and even though it was a buffet, the waitresses constantly checked up on our party to make sure we were content.

For those without a taste for Asian food, there was also pizza, chicken nuggets, and french fries, as well as several vegetarian options. Wine and alcoholic beverages were also available.

Dessert consisted of chocolate ice cream, cream puffs, chocolate cake, and coconut cookies.

We eat here on every visit to Williamsburg. It keeps getting better. They expanded their sushi bar and now have Thai food selections in addition to Chinese and Mongolian. I still go to the mongolian grill first though since I like the fresh cooked veg and meat and I can pick the sauces with minimal oil. Although it's fairly busy, we've never had to wait for a table and the buffet food is refreshed frequently so you won't have to deal with grey veggies. Cost was $11.99 per person for dinner buffet.
