We recently spent three nights here and loved it. Being almost Halloween time, there were events for the kids to participate in such as trick-or-treating and a hayride. The pool was also still open and looked like a lot of fun but we did not have suits with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was sick two days of the trip and the manager let us have a late check-out so we could spend the last day doing some things we hadn't been able to do. This was my first time at a campground and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Room Tip: I would get a spot with more grass or paved area. Our spot was more dirt and rocks and the rain made a little mess of things.

We just left our visit with our 3 yr old and 7yr old. What a wonderful stay. Dana and Wayne became favorites of our children. We did hay rides, movie outside and enjoyed meeting others. Our deluxe cabin #9 was perfect. A bedroom for mom and dad and a built in bunk bed in a small room for the kids. A futon, dining table, fridge and microwave made meals easier. It even has 2 flat screen TVA and full bathroom. The location of this cabin was great. The swings are across the street. Oh don't forget the pancake breakfast. This KOA was the best part of our trip.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed the deluxe cabin and our fall festivities! We are lucky to be located near some wonderful local attractions, but love to have activities that help our campers enjoy their stay at the campground. Thank you for your review!

We stayed here mid-September (on the Colonial side). The main pool was still open which was a nice plus. The staff (especially Peter) were very pleasant and helpful. The restrooms and the laundry areas were very clean. We loved the fact that there was a (well kept) dog park available for our dog to use. The only thing that I felt could be improved was the road situation. Other than the main road in, everything else was gravel, and it seemed at certain areas very hard to actually tell where the roads were. We had one night of rain and this made somewhat of a mess to drive on. Other than that, we felt the campground was well run and maintained. We hope to bring our grandkids with us on our next trip down.

Thank you for visiting us and taking time to post a review! We love it when families bring their dogs to play and are happy to accommodate. We also appreciate your recognition of our staff. Between Memorial and through August, we have a Sunshiners group that stays at our grounds and offers great activities that we’re sure your grandkids would love. We look forward to seeing you again!

Arrived on Friday, Sept 21st and check in was a breeze, they take you to your site and let you decide if you want to be moved (can see this being a problem in the busy months). Our site on the Colonial side was big enough to fit our 36ft and trailer (could not get the awning out due to large tree on the site, but not a big deal). They do have about 6 fully paved sites (no sand/gravel) that we will reserve next time. Staff is friendly and helpful with questions and directions and bath houses are spotless. One note, it seems that the sewer is rather far away from the rig so grab at least 30 ft to accommodate. We will def be coming back to this campground and Sept is a beautiful time to visit. Look for the owner at the Hershey Rv show (saved us 30 percent off reservation).

I am very disappointed to read some of the reviews about Williamsburg KOA. We have camped there twice a year for the last 6 years or so and it has been great! The staff is friendly and attentive! The walking trails, dog park, bouncing pillow, outdoor movie, pool, game room, banana bike rentals and several other activities always keep us occupied. We love the addition of the patio sites...what a luxury! We are coming back in two weeks and bringing another family to camp next to us. Love the fire ring at every site, and the pancake breakfast is awesome! Can't wait to go back!
