“"Avoid"”

The exterior of the building is not indicative of what you will receive once inside. The food is of poor quality, and relatively tastless except for the sauces. The interior is in great need of capital improvement. The carpet is exceptionally nasty and one can only guess what lies behind the kitchen door. After having spent in excess of $50 for two people all you will have is remorse. We left wishing we'd gone to Arby's, Wendy's or anywhere else.

“Not what I expected”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

The outside of the building was so amazing I thought it had to be a great place! The inside was not as great. The service was slow, our waitress was nice, but she was the only one in the sushi section, and she could not get to everyone in a timely manner... not her fault there should have been better staffing. The sushi menu was a lot of rolls with tempura and cream cheese... not my favorite.I prefer sashimi, but it was pretty expensive! I chose one of the special rolls, I believe it was called the Angel roll, it was good, well made, but it was a bit pricey.

“If you like to pay EXTRA for bad for and bad service eat here”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

We traveled to Williamsburg to meet friends and ate at this restaurant over the weekend. None of us were happy with the quality of the food, cleanliness, seating or service. We should have turned around when we saw the dirty koi pond or the Chinese staff. Don't get me wrond, but we were looking for a Japanese dining experience. We were promptly seated at a grill with rickety chairs and a grill of questionable cleanliness. The chef was friendly enough but cooked the rice and vegetables before he even put the meat on the grill. He then overcooked our vegetables and if we wanted to eat our food while it was warm we could not wait for the meat. We paid an EXTRA $3 each for stirfried rice even though he was grilling everything already. That was unheard of and very disappointing. Our waiter argued with us over a coupon and we ended up speaking to the manager. Granted we could have handled the situation a little better BUT the manager and waiter forgot the basic tenent of the restaurant business... give the customer good food and service and a good tip, repeat business and a good review will follow. We will never go back to this place again and I highly suggest you do the same.

“Fiery Show”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

Went with a group of friends, joined five other people already seated. The chef was personal, and witty. Our waitress was very attentive. Food was fun and good. Drinks were good.. Loved the the excitement from all the tables around us. Fun place to go with friends and children.

“Delicious food with entertaining atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

This place is so great my boyfriend and i went twice while on vacation. It is expensive but the chefs are fun to watch, sometimes they toss food right into your mouth. I don't know why people are saying food was bad, it was incredibly good. In my visits i tried steak, scallops, chicken, shrimp, and fried rice. We loved it all! For the adults, the mixed drinks are yummy too :)
