We own at Williamsburg plantation. The units are spacious clean and cozy. We stayed in the older model because the space is very very good. We had not been for a couple of years. We were exchanging our week to visit other places. We were glad to be back home. This trip was a little different we had no kids and no grand children. I booked the week they were back in school. There are a lot of activities at the resort. We have cookout amenities in your back yard. It's safe and the staff are very onset stove and friendly. The check in and check out process were set up as express for check out. I will go back again and again. There is tennis, golfing and other activities a great spa. Good job everyone.

This place is in a good spot for visiting the historical triangle, Busch Gardens, and the water park, but I wouldn't call it a resort. It has a decent set of indoor and outdoor pools, but no poolside bar, cafe or similar. We were told that the owners prefer that to keep the maintenance fees down. The tennis courts looked nice, but we seldom play. The room was a two bedroom, with plenty of space and large bathrooms. There was no linen or towel service unless we wanted to pay extra, again, keeping the maintenance fees down. The kitchen had the usual refrigerator, dishwasher and place settings, but no stove/oven (low maintenance fees), and the TV was low-def, which I suppose was also due to the amazingly low maintenance fees. Internet service is pay per day per device so we used our phones as hot spots. The washer/dryer is shared between units.

The place is quiet and has plenty of eateries within a short drive. Williamsburg is about 15 minutes away and the train station is maybe 10 minutes. We did go through their survey and got a free breakfast at a local pancake place (very good) as well as a Visa gift card. We didn't need another timeshare but figured chatting with the sales guy was worth the freebies. Personally, I'd rather pay higher maintenance fees to get the amenities, since I am on vacation, but, since I'm not an owner here, it's not my call. We had a good time in the area and enjoyed the quiet when we were in the room.

The resort was very nice. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. There are a few things that could have been better. 1. We had two units, one of which did not have a stove...that was horrible. Cooking on a hot plate is awful not to mention that there was no counter space so that was tricky. I don't do much cooking on vacation but the limited amount I did do was annoying. 2. The wifi was too expensive which I think should have been a given. 3. there was no place onsite to get a quick meal...not even a snack bar at the pool. that was a bit inconvenient. Overall though I have to say the staff was very customer oriented, very friendly and a delight to deal with. The activities on site were good...loved the magician. the rooms were clean and quite nice. I would recommend this resort.

The rooms are nice and very clean, but I was disappointed at the price for use of the WiFi, which was nearly $10 a day. We bought three days worth of WiFi, but it seemed to be cut off everyday and we had to call daily to get it reconnected. It's 2013, so shouldn't WiFi more accessible? Also, some of the employees were very loud and obnoxious when we arrived as they were huddled in a corner laughing and talking rudely. The outside pool was less than half of what they portrayed it to be in advertisement pictures. It is a nice place, but there isn't really enough concern shown for the customer and they seem to put on a facade of something they are not.

The room and pool area was nice. They cancelled the outdoor activities with the hint of cloudy weather. We were told that all we needed to do was give an opinion of the new property and would get in exchange breakfast and a gift card. The sales pitch was the heaviest hitting one i'VE EVER BEEN IN. The man was rude enough to tell my boyfriend to step up and be a man and sign the contract We finally left 3 hrs later!

We had a 2nd floor condo unit that was a great base for our 8 day stay in the Williamsburg area. The unit was nicely appointed, spacious, and quiet. We had more than enough room to have some privacy when each of us wanted it, but also had a large common area where we could eat and relax in comfort. Our family had four adults stay in one rental, which we could not do in a typical motel/hotel room

The kitchen was a great plus, as we could eat many meals in. Unfortunately, there was no stove, which we did not know of until we arrived. It seems that there is no way to know when booking the room that there is not a complete kithcen. That said, the two burner hot plate, coffee maker, fridge, cookware, flatware, etc. made the week enjoyable to have a home-like feel to a rental unit. The washer and dryer wre also a great feature so we did not have a ton of laudry when we returned home.

The property is located near to all the area attractions, with the longest ride to Yorktown. Grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping are a very short drive away.

The pool area was very busy, but I view that as a good thing. If it was not, that would indicate no one wanted to use the pool. The area was loud and full of kids. Those are plusses, not minuses.

I found the rates reasonable, especially considering all the amenities in each unit. The $10 daily Internet fee is insulting though. The infrastructure to provide access already exists as each unit already has phone lines. Another addition might be to include a midweek exchange of linens at no cost. This too seemed a bit like nickel and diming for more revenue. I would rather see the costs incorporated into the price of the room. It would also be nice for them to have their own website for travelers to book a room

We would definitiely return to Wiliamsburg Plantation.

Room Tip: Call them to find out if your reservation includes a full kitchen
