“Great for teaching the little ones how to ride bikes”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

For me, the best part of Waller mill is the bike/ Running path. There is no way a car or truck can onto it. It is the perfect spot to teach little ones how to ride

“Great Spot for Kayaking”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

I can't believe this great spot was so close and I had never visited before now. Waller Mill is in Williamsburg only about an hour from Va Beach. I attended a kayak class at the park and had a great visit. They have 4-5 miles of trails and another 2 mile (1 way) bike trail. Kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats are available for rent and the reservoir is a huge, wonderful, interesting place to enjoy. We saw a Bald Eagle and other birds, turtles, fish, butterfiles, etc. The only negative comment is that most of the 4 kayaks we rented were in bad shape; one leaked quite bad and had to be returned, the seats and/or foot pads were broken and would not adjust for proper use. The park provides paddles and PFD's with rentals.

“Nice park”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We spent a few hours here doing some geocaching. Very nice park. The lookout was nice, and the trails were a lot of fun.

“Enjoyed kayaking on the reservoir”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Went to this park on the last day we were in Williamsburg. My kids and I rented kayaks ($5 per hour per kayak). Children must be 16 years of age to have their own kayak. They have both single and double kayaks available to rent. The park is beautiful and the reservoir is large. Wish we had more time to go back to fish and hike.

Great place for a secluded reunion. Access to lake was great. Staff was courteous. Only problem, no potable water.
