I am Ana's nine-year-old son. This building has beautiful art and a lot of history.I enjoyed it because it gave me a chance to learn about the history of the beautiful house. I recommend visiting this former home of John D. Rockefeller Jr. Our excellent guide was Nancy Hall (I believe).

Just as the Rockefellers left it in the 40's, well worth the time, nice variation from all of the 1770's buildings at Williamsburg

it was so nice and peaceful on the grounds and the old home is really nice...fun to see how the rich back the 1930s thought of the down sized home!

A visit to the Rockefellow spring and fall home will surprise first time visitors. The home is so very normal and peaceful. You will not understand how millionaires lived here but they did. No extravagance except maybe in the kitchen. Gardens are not over the top by any means. Yes, there are horses, and outer buildings but this is a must see.
