This is one of the attractions you need tickets for, but it was well worth it. You learn about the process of how a bill becomes a law and the court process.

“Impressive!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

Wow, the most spectacular displays of arms I have ever seen, a ballroom, royal portraits and more. Take the tour, even my kids (ages 8 and 10) loved it. Outside there is a boxwood maze. We returned at night for the dance program. It was fun. All four if us had a chance to join in (the children twice). The characters at the dance were entertaining - flirting and gossiping as they danced.

“We missed the governor and his family...”

The story telling and setting the scene for visitors was excellent. All of Colonial Williamsburg is a wonderful experience. We also like Randall House and the Court House. The historical experience was wonderful.

“Must See”

This gem shows the comfort that nobility and political officials could enjoy in the colonies, and it contrasts the housing of the colonists. Meet and greet the local patriots in the palace garden.

“Take the Tour!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

This was one of the best building tours in Colonial Williamsburg. If you have very little time there, put this building at the top of your priority list if only for the opulence and the lush gardens. It will be a great education in learning how the gentry lived in the 18th century.
