“Very nice”

I stayed at the Inn for the first time. It was very nice. It is beautiful with a great location. The bellhops and housekeeping staff were outstanding. The rest of the staff was fine. If you have a problem that needs to be resolved you'll probably need to go to the hotel manager.

I recommend the taverns in Colonial Williamsburg for dining. I only ate breakfast in the dining room and got a piece of pie from room service but neither was very good. Don't let this deter you, there are many great places to eat nearby.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel are a little noisy with people coming and going. Beautiful though.

One year after I wrote "An outstanding and impeccable full-service luxury hotel" review of the Williamsburg Inn, I return for a three-night stay and can honestly admit I have fallen in love.

I enjoy luxury and five-star properties as much as anyone, but mostly stay at much more modest hotels. I am a senior citizen and this is my annual "Big Splurge." Trust me on this, if you want to splurge and be confident you will never doubt the overall value, stay at The Williamburg Inn.

The staff has been employed for years, and shows it by delivering hospitality flawlessly. The warm welcome upon entering, the friendly check-in, and then entering your own very well appointed room give you a expectation this stay will be extraordinary. The Regency Dining Room hosts, hostesses and wait staff welcome you back after a year's absence, in spite of a sell-out weekend at the Inn.

The concierge staff keeps you informed on what is going on in this very busy restored colonial city. They are honest, unlike many in chain hotels who seem to be paid for their recommendations. The housekeepers have a genuinely warm "Good morning" to you each day with a smile while they look into your eyes.

The room, the staff, the fine food, the wines, the ample free parking, and the fabulous location at the center of the colonial capital make the Inn exceptional. I must focus special praise on the front desk, which last year I found to be officious at best. A huge improvement was noted this year, even before arrival when confirming reservations at the best-available rate. During the stay and upon departure, the front desk staff all performed with high-level professionalism.

When you want and deserve the very best in warm and personable flawless service, the Williamsburg Inn delivers. You can settle into your overstuffed room chair, gaze out at the landscaping and golf course, and quietly declare, "Life is good."

This serious cynic must now grudgingly admit he has fallen in love with a hotel.

A very classy and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Colonial Willamsburg. A convenient location for taking in the community's history and pre-Christmas festivities.

The location of this old and traditional Inn is close to all activities and sites of Colonial Williamsburg. The Inn is one of the most well kept traditional Hotels in the States; you really feel back living in these old days. The service is excellent and the food, too. Thanks, we will return again.

For many years I traveled to Williamsburg Va and stayed in a variety of hotels in the area. I love the Williamsburg area and wanted to experience it to the fullest. I saved up and got a room at the Williamsburg Inn. It was wonderful and worth the extra money. The common areas are living in the period and the rooms were comfortable and decorated beatifully. If you love Williamsburg you owe it to your self to try it!

Room Tip: If you want an even greater experience try the colonial houses operated by the Inn. GREAT!!

Stayed here this Veterans' Day Weekend for a little getaway with the wife. We were very impressed with our experience here, but be aware, you do pay for it. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was elegant, with a stocked mini-bar, nightly turndown service and excellent service. The hotel restaurant at the Regency Room was absolutely wonderful, with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. We ate Dinner and Sunday Brunch here and it was without a single complaint. Food was absolutely perfect and expertly prepared and presented. Also enjoyed Afternoon Tea which was a new and pleasant experience for my wife and I. We had made reservations at one of the Taverns in Colonial Williamsburg through the reservation center and I had called to change it from 2 people two 4 and was told they were unable. I went to the concierge and she accommodated us with ease by calling the restaurant directly. Great experience and will definitely return.

My stay at the Williamsburg Inn provided a very peaceful and restful experience. The accommodations were fantastic and the service from all of the staff members was superb. I enjoyed the Spa and more than anything else appreciated being placed in the "Queen's Suite". I look forward to returning for leisure. Staying at the Inn made a hectic business schedule much more comfortable.

Thank you!

Room Tip: The suites are delightful.
