Front desk personnel were very personable, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient to the Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, restaurants, and outlet center.

We have been bringing my 82 year old mother to Williamsburg for greater than 15 years for her birthday. One of the pleasures we like with our experience is that we start our day with the delicious hot breakfast at the hotel. We were quite disappointed that they have decided to remove the eggs and sausage from the choices . You now have only standard fare (lots of cereal, bagels, and muffins.) I felt that the Williamsburg properties had always been a cut above the regular hotels in the area. Now you have to go next door and pay for any hot food you may want. Such a disapointment!

We loved everything about this hotel... it offers so much and is a great place to stay while visiting Williamsburg. The lobby is welcoming and spacious. The rooms are comfortable. The Continental breakfast is a cut above. But the beds. Yikes... our room had two doubles and one was so bad it made all kinds of noises just sitting on it and you could feel the springs. My back was hurting halfway through the night. The other bed a bit better, but both need replacing. This would be my only hesitation in returning.

The staff at the Woodlands are very professional and friendly.
Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast as well as the breakfast buffet at Huzzah!
The hotel was quiet and relaxing.

We arrived at a rather busy time for the front desk. They had a manager step in and start greeting and doing check-in for the guests. The walk to the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center was about 1.5 blocks. All of the experiences we had were pleasant, exciting and made us feel welcome.
