We decided to visit Colonial williamsburg this summer. We didnt pick the best time of the summer but what this property has to offer we felt that we made an excellent choice. we have been to Colonial Williamsburg at least 7 times. This was our first time staying at the Williamsburg Lodge. we took one of the packages that we saw on the internet. It included a buffet breakfast each morning, tickets to visit the colonial exhibits and houses, and a $100 gift card that we used to have anniversary dinner at Kings Arms Tavern-- King Arms was an excellent choice. We took a complete dinner that encluded appetizer, entre and an excellent dessert. But we needed to use the entire gift card when we ate there.
The Williamsburg Lodge is elegant and across from the Williamsburg Spa that includes an indoor pool, an outdoor family pool and a "quiet" outdoor pool, spa and fabulous gym.
Since it was a hot few days--we really made use of the pools--and the atmosphere was very elegant. During the day they had drinks available--cool water with lemons or oranges--we were able to fill up our water bottles and return to visiting the historic area. we were so happy that we chose the Lodge--it was more expensive--but it is in the middle of everything and close by the pool and near the bus stop that can take you to Busch Gardens,More
