When we arrived about 4:30 pm on Aug 1 2018 we we told our suite was not ready. So we parked the car and sat in the lobby no more than 10 minutes and we told we could check in. We had a suite of 2 double beds and a sofa bed since there were 5 of us. As I pulled open the sofa bed I saw there was no mattress and I didn't at this time know where the bedding was kept and we needed an extra set of towels. I volunteered to go down and explain this to the front desk. He was truely sorry and was arranging to fix the situation when the manager Martha came and took over. She upgraded us to 2 connecting rooms one king suite with a pull out sofa and the other room had two double beds. She was so kind she even helped us move our stuff to the new rooms and made sure we were satisfied. With kind service like this you can bet we will stay at a Courtyard again. Thank you for making our rooms a great experience.

Went with a few families to visit Busch Gardens, and chose this place due to location (about 2 miles from the park). The hotel is typical Marriott, and in pretty good shape. Check in was fast (using the app), and the hotel was very clean. Very nice indoor/outdoor pool, and the grounds were nice and in good shape.

The only negative were the breakfast options. Most of the other big chain hotels in the area have a typical included breakfast buffet. This Marriott apparently abandoned that concept, and now has an ala carte type breakfast that you have to either pay for separately, or buy a room package that includes it. On the plus side, the food choices were good (breakfast sandwiches and burritos, and an assortment of pastries, muffins, and Starbucks coffee). On the down side, it's somewhat expensive. If you're going to eat at the hotel, plan on spending about $10-15/ extra per person for breakfast (a room package including breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids adds around $40 to the room price).

This is a typical Courtyard with a great location. Less than 5 minutes from Busch Gardens & Water Country USA. We walked to an Italian restaurant on the last evening.

Good internet connection and nice rooms, my only complaint is shared among all Courtyards (no breakfast included).

The highlight of our visit was Shanise. She greeted us very warmly on check-in and helped us with special requests. Easily the brightest star among the staff.

We had a nice visit at the Courtyard Marriott Williamsburg. Fun time at the swimming pool. Bistro was out of a few dinner items so we had to go out. Motel was nice and friendly. Very clean. We stayed 1 night.
Free Internet, quiet, and we enjoyed our stay.

We met family here so they worked hard to put our rooms close together. We enjoyed the pool with the kids. The beds were comfortable and they brought a pacnplay to the room for our young child. Only a short distance to colonial Williamsburg.
