We stayed in the downstairs unit. If the upstairs unit is occupied there can be some noise from their foot steps. We never really found the foot noise to be very disturbing. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Nice view from our balcony. Kitchen was very adequate with every thing you would need. The staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful. There is an outdoor pool and a playground but not much else for children, however go to visit the colonial sites nearby and don't be concerned with onsite amenities.
These are two story units with no elevators.
If you are going to the Williamsburg area this is a very nice place to stay. Very easy access to all the colonial sites and Busch-Gardens as well.

Room Tip: If you have trouble managing stairs ask for a first floor unit. If you are a light sleeper ask for an upstairs unit.

Hotel is very nicely appointed. Rooms are neat and clean. The grounds are manicured. Some construction equipment was an eyesore, but wasn't a deal-breaker.

Front desk personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. We initially had a 1st floor unit below noisy guests. The next morning we asked to move and were accommodated immediately! The customer service was very, very good.

Only downer is the Wyndham sales. They pretend you need a "parking pass" to get your ear. It's an extremely dishonest tactic. I've learned to ignore them but it's still an insult to my intelligence.

We were there staying as timeshare owners. The grounds are very nice and the rooms come with everything you need for an extended stay. Centrally located. Staff very helpful with dining recommendations. However, we experienced a few issues. We were roped into a timeshare "update" that lasted longer than the promised 1 hour....typical Wyndham. But at least we got our free Williamsburg and Busch Gardens tickets. The placement of the bed in the room is problematic. The light from the hallway shines directly onto the bed - challenging when sleeping. They told us we could us the pool at another property, which was not the case so be forewarned. Lastly, we had a water pipe burst around 11 pm. Not Wydham's fault (and I don't discount their rating) as they quickly moved us to another room and comped us accordingly but it was still a pain to deal with in the middle of the night.

The timeshare was comfortable and spacious. The staff very pleasant. However, when there were guests renting above every footstep and accompanying wood creaking was annoying especially when trying to get to sleep.

Beware of unscrupulous marketing practices here. My credit card was charged over $100 without my consent. Heartless detached staff were dismissive and elitist. The one bedroom unit was clean,nicely furnished and decorated but the whole experience was ruined due to the surly marketing staff. Will be very cautious in going to any Wyndham resort again due to this experience.
