Came here for one week for a family reunion with three families. We always choose these types of vacation rentals, and this is definitely one of my favorites ever!! The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms were spacious and gorgeous and all amenities high-end. Every aspect we could need was available for cooking, laundry or even grilling. I appreciated the wealth of activities scheduled- poolside evening movies and live music by the pool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We ate dinner one evening at the country club restaurant, everything was tasty, and they have a gluten-free menu. They were exceptionally attentive to our group who had food allergies. We had such a great stay. Minor downsides are that the resort is a little farther to downtown than other places but close to shopping, groceries, etc. The location was fine for us. We visited the parks and Colonial Williamsburg. But the parking was limited, most nights after returning from our outings, the only open spaces were far away, which is not fun when carrying sleeping children back to the room. Given that we had 3 separate rooms, I would have appreciated some type of reserved spaces, but is is first-come, first-serve. Not a major flaw, but a mild annoyance. Would definitely return!

We stayed for 1 night and I would highly recommend the 2 bedrooms, 2-bathroom suite! It's extremely spacious with a full kitchen, dining and living room. Beds were very comfortable and there was a washer and dryer machine in our room. Please note there are several different buildings that aren't connected, but are very close to each other. We were located in the Independence Manor building, which is located at one end; and is convenient to the main pool with the sprinkler park, life size chessboard and the tennis courts. We visited this pool, which was very nice, and our kids (10 & 7) loved it. However there's a second smaller pool that we didn't use located right off the main building where you check in. This nice resort is surrounded by a very nice higher end housing development and a beautiful golf course. The only negative, is that it's about a 10 to 15 minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg and the main drag - Richmond Road, where many of the restaurants and stores are located. The resort is a great choice when visiting the Williamsburg area!

Very nice accommodations for a family of 5. Great location for visiting historical America. Not as many kid activities as most of the Marriott vacation clubs we have stayed at. Pools were small but nice. The weather was unseasonably cool, which was great for sightseeing. Drove in to DC on a Thursday and it was a very nice trip. Not too far for a day trip, probably wouldn't want to so it more than once.
Would definitely recommend this for a "sightseeing" vacation stay. There is just so much history near this location!

We stayed here in July and the weather was pleasant (unseasonably)! The resort is spacious and beautifully landscaped. The staff are friendly and helpful - just ask!

Several movie options at the activity center. There weren't a wide variety of activities - but we weren't there to participate anyway! The pools are nice, make sure your children go to the kid pool - lots to do there. The other pool is smaller near the golf course.

The one downside was the wifi signal is sporadic. That's probably being addressed as the resort is renovated. It is NOT near downtown, but doesn't claim to be. It is a short (10 min or so) drive from just about anything you'd need. (Groceries, restaurants, drug store, etc.) We enjoyed the resort and would recommend it to others. The grounds are gorgeous. We eve spotted bunnies in the rose garden!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Williamsburg and had the pleasure to stay at Marriott's Manor Club. I only wished we had more time to enjoy this fantastic resort. The resort is a very short drive from Colonial Williamsburg ( about 10 minutes). It also very close to several restaurant options (If you choose not to cook inside the villas or the outdoor BBQ by the tennis courts). We ended up eating dinner at Francesco's and Captain Georges and couldn't have been happier.

After booking our Villa I was contacted twice about setting up our room preferences. Upon arrival we were greeted at the front desk and very quickly checked-in. During check-in the staff provided us with a list of events for the week which were plentiful. Our room preferences had been noted and so we ended up on the third floor with a woods view. What a perfect location! Nice and quiet with a screened in balcony to sit outside and enjoy the evening. The one bedroom villa was very clean and spacious. Living room, dining room, kitchen bedroom and bathroom and washer/dryer. The villa could have easily supported a family as long as someone didn't mind the couch. The bedroom also had a jacuzzi tub built for two which was nice to relax in after a long day. (We did have some issues getting the tub to start. We kept turning the timer on but the jets weren't starting. We finally figured out that there is a small metal on button found on the right side of the tub so once we got over that hump it was smooth sailing.) Shortly after getting settled we were surprised with balloons, an anniversary card and sparkling grape juice (perfect since my wife is pregnant) from the staff. It may have been a small gesture but it was so very appreciated.

The property is part of the Marriott Vacation Club. As a result I was a little concerned the timeshare aspect would be pushed. With the exception of one phone message and the advertisement on the television this ended up being a complete non-issue.

The Marriott's Manor Club will definitely be at the top of my list the next time we come back to Williamsburg.

Room Tip: Loved a high floor for a better view with woods view.
