“Good value”

Stayed here one night over Thanksgiving. Our first stay at a Sleep Inn. Room was clean. Bed was fine. Walls seemed a little thin and I'd request the top floor if I stayed again. Not sure what the people above us were doing but it sounded like they were jumping off the beds. Breakfast was the usual waffles, cereal, pastries but did include biscuits and gravy. They worked to keep it stocked and counters clean. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor to avoid hearing people in room above walking around.

Have stayed here before and have noticed that it isn't quite as nice as it use to be. It was very reasonable in price and the beds are comfortable. Shower door did not fit properly and the tolit paper holder kept coming off everytime you used it. Minor things that need seeing to.

Stayed here for one night with my family to visit Williamsburg, Jamestown, and other sites. Hotel is conveniently located to amenities and sites. Plenty of parking, indoor pool was nice, and rooms were clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

We just got back from a long weekend in Williamsburg and stayed at the Sleep Inn. When looking for hotels its seems all there was in the area were those from $60-100 a night or $200+ seeing as we were not planning to be in the hotel except to sleep, it seemed excessive to spend that much on a room! I did my research through tripadvisor and this hotel seemed to have the best reviews. Needless to say they were all true! We were very pleased with our stay. Room was very clean and relatively updated. TV was not a flat screen but worked fine nonetheless. Front desk staff was very professional and overall we were truly impressed with our stay. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is the breakfast. I wasn't surprised because this seems to be the case with most "free" breakfasts at hotels, but the pickings were slim and none of them healthy or substantial. We tried it the first morning and were able to settle on oatmeal and apples (the only fruit they had) but decided to eat out the following mornings. Alternatively, next time I would plan ahead and buy things like milk/cereal/fruit/yogurt to keep in the mini fridge in the room. If you are happy eating waffles and corn flakes though then you wont have a problem. We are just particular eaters :)

This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget. It's ~ 5 miles to Busch Gardens and even closer to Colonial Williamsburg. Shower and no tub, so it may be hard bathing young kids. Note though the shower is big enough such that you and your kid can stand in there together (which is how I washed my kids). Room was a bit small for us as we had 2 young kids, and there was not enough storage space or space to hang items, but for what we paid it was a great deal. Breakfast had lots of options though mostly unhealthy (muffins/cinnamon rolls/danishes, waffles, mini bagels, toast, orange/apple juice, coffee, apples, fruit loops/corn flakes/raisin bran, hard boiled eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy). Very close to restaurants (Uno's, Cracker Barrel, Golden Corral). Very friendly front desk. Not much separation between bathroom and sleeping area, so felt like very little bathroom privacy. Would stay again if I can get a good deal!

Fantastic staff! Great comfortable clean room. Great location. We arrived before the 3 PM check-in tine after a very busy weekend, but Douglas who was just coming on duty took care of us even though his shift had not started, as the other desk attendant was busy with other customers. We had a great stay and no problems at all. We had to extend our stay by one day, and had no issues with that either. At 74.95 a night it was a value! The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but with a full hotel, I would not expect more. Thanks to a great staff and a great hotel chain!

We booked this hotel because our family of 5 decided that we needed more space than a standard size room and figured for the low price we could afford to get two rooms here. BIG MISTAKE! Normally we stay at Hilton Family or Marriott Family hotels but we couldn't afford to get two rooms at one of those places. This was our best option for the money.

The bad impressions started as soon as we entered the hotel. The "lobby" (I wouldn't even call it a lobby) was extremely small and decorated with mis-matched furniure that looked like it was taken from people's homes (not the type of place I want to go after driving 10 hours). Then when we checked in, the girl behind the desk was sitting on three pillows (these are probably the same pillows guests use and its disgusting to think that our heads are going where her butt was). When I booked the rooms, I requested connecting rooms, yet when we checked in we had rooms that were next to each other, not connecting, meaning me and my wife had to sleep in different rooms. We reluctantly checked in and walked to our room down the hall on the first floor. We first had to pass the loud and noisy laundry room. When we entered the room we were shocked.

The pictures made the place look OK and we knew not to expect the Ritz but once the door opened all our jaws dropped. It wasn't that it was not nice (even though it wasn't) but that the place was so dirty and looked extremely worn. The comforters had cigarrette burn holes in them. The TV (which was probably the oldest TV I've seen in a while) had dust all over it and scratches on the top in addition to a poor picture quality. The dresser was practically falling apart and the wood was comming off the back of it. Dead bugs were sitting on the window sill. The sign that this place was not up to standards was the chair. It looked as if someone had urinated in it (and it smelt like it). There were stains on the entire seat and we questioned the cleanliness of the rest of the room if a maid would overlook this problem. The bathroom was extremely tiny and it is only possible for one person to be in there at a time.

Overall, there are way better options in the area for the price point of this dump. We decided to spend one night of our four night vacation here and got our money back with no questions from management (is this common?). We stayed at the SpringHill Suites which was much nicer than this dump and was cleaner and overall a better value. We ended up paying less there for one beautiful room with two queen beds, sofabed, kitchen, and living room than for two disgusting rooms at this place.

Don't waste your time or money at this place if you want a nice vacation. Check out other options in the area.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms here
