Description: We are a casual fine dinning restaurant that makes our food from scratch. We offer jumbo scallops wrapped in house cured bacon, grilled flat iron and sirloin steaks, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, Po-boys and one of the best reubens made with house made sauerkraut in Virginia. Most of our menu can be modified to be Gluten free as well. We look forward to seeing you soon

We have had dinner at the Green Leaf several times. Mid-week, Friday, Saturday and the food is always great along with the service and the atmosphere. My husband and I have dined there alone, with friends and with our grandchildren and everyone could always find food that satisfied our appetites. I dined there with a friend from California that is a "master" chef and she loved the food. July 2013 was the last time we were there as a family but it won't be long before we go back!

We were on the road for a couple of weeks and were tired of chains. We sought out quaint restaurants in quaint revitalized downtown ares. The Green Leaf Grill was one of the best. It was nicely decorated. The menu is a mix of New Orleans and it is vegetarian friendly. They have many craft beers and good wines. It was a very wonderful end to a long day on the highway.

Staying right off the highway surrounded by all the chain restaurants, we wanted something different. This little place is closer to downtown Waynesboro. Parking was free and easy on the street right out front on an early Saturday evening and there was minimal waiting for a seat in the busy restaurant. The menu is extensive with anything from soup and salad to burgers, sandwiches and larger entrees. Prices from $5 to $20. We all had sandwiches of some sort and were very pleased with all of them, shrimp po-boys, ham & cheese panini, fried pork, it was all delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

We went to the Green Leaf Grill based on reviews right here on Trip Advisor. The only bad thing I can say about the restaurant is we almost walked right by it even though we were looking for it! Once inside, the ambiance is pleasant, the customer service is excellent and the food was outstanding. We ordered the pork roll appetizer and a cup of french onion soup to start. Both were tasty. We both ordered the reuben with sweet potato fries. The bread was toasted perfecty, the beef was chopped. The saurkrout was very good as well! The sweet potato fries were perfectly fried and the "sauce" was delicious. They have an excellent selection of local beers and wines. It is a cozy little joint with a menu that is varied and the prices are very, very reasonable!

We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We are new residents of Waynesboro and thought we would check out Green Leaf. We had an excellent meal! It was such a nice surprise! I had the scallops special and my husband had the crab, andouille, and chicken gumbo. Both were fantastic and very tasty! The scallops were done to perfection. We also had the warm beet salad before our meal. Yum! The server was attentive and helpful. The only downside is that we were at a very small table in the front and the chairs were very uncomfortable. We will return to Green Leaf!
