After trying the nearby Grille, this was letdown.
Ended up being seated in the pub after some confusion about the reservation. (Their web site was a bit unclear about the menus offered in the pub versus restaurant and only offered one way to make a reservation.)
We ordered the pumpkin and red pepper soup and the pork loin.
The soup was quite nice, but a bit creamy. I would have preferred it with less cream and perhaps a little chili or paprika. That said, the pumpkin seeds were a nice touch
The pork was OK, but overcooked. It also came with a side of grated vegetables, which was done OK, but the taste was dominated by parsnip, which I don't really like. Would have been much better with potatoes, and an apple crust and/or mustard.
Service was good. The wine and beer list was short, but OK. Atmosphere in the pub was pretty bad. Country music playing and not very relaxing. Awesome view of the lake, though.
