Having made several attempts to eat at Claire's over the past few years we were delighted to finally have lunch there recently. My husband and I enjoyed every morsel of every course from she crab soup to a slice of the mocha chocolate cake. My oysters were that perfect combination of sweetness and salinity and the accompanying potatoes and apple enhanced slaw gave a modern taste to a classic seafood specialty. The curry was silken, spicy and soothing with a splash of tart yogurt. The rich, creamy chocolate buttercream covering the moist three leveled cake was the perfect accompaniment to the strong, excellent black coffee we sipped. Thank you Claire, await staff and chef for a perfect lunch.

Wow! What a gem! The food was out of this world ... so delicious and scrumptiously unique. The staff provided impeccable service as they were prompt, friendly, frequent and knowledgeable. The dinning experience, wonderful from the old train depot shell to the copper covered bar and tables....elegant and romantic! There is also a outside patio which is lit up with white lights covering the trees. We received a table off the bar area right away, which was awesome. I will make reservations to enjoy our next opportunity in the dining area, which has a limited number of tables but amazing ambiance! We strongly recommend Claire's if you want the whole package and would love to memorialize a special occasion!

Claire's at the Depot was a huge surprise. From the moment we entered we were treated like royalty. The wait staff was prompt, informative and anticipated all of our needs before we expressed them. The food was some of the BEST food I have ever eaten. A basket of orange scones arrived at our table, they were delicious (our server even boxed up some for us to take with us!). My husband had a cup of their She Crab soup - (labeled to be the best ), well we are from the coast and have experienced really good She Crab soup, they were correct!!! that was the BEST She Crab soup either one of us has ever had! My husband ordered the cornmeal crusted oysters and I ordered the ginger glazed salmon salad, both were excellent. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Claire's. If it weren't so far away I'd be a regular.

Very Good place, in an old train station of some sort. Very nice bar area where you can dine or just grab a cocktail before dinner. Friendly service. Beet and Goat Cheese Salad ($8), very fresh and falvorful. Southwestern Caesar ($8), nice twist with some spice. Blackened Sea Scallops (wild caught, andouille sausage & crab cream sauce, smoked Gouda stone-ground grits, wilted spinach $29), perfectly cooked with a great fresh texture from the grits. And the rock fish with a nice relish (special). Cozy on a rainy night. would go again.
