Stayed at the Hampton Inn, Warrenton, VA last week for one night. Hampton Inn has a guarantee that if you are not 100% satisfied, they will rectify the situation....and they sure did!

Check in time on the reservation states 2:00pm. We arrived at 2:10pm and the room was not ready....no big deal really. But 50 minutes later, it still wasn't ready. I didn't say anything but the desk clerk clearly overheard my husband and I talking about how much longer we would be willing to wait. (There aren't many choices to stay in Warrenton, VA and we were meeting friends who live there) Magically, the room was ready...we said thank you, got our bags and went to our room. The room was lovely and the pillows! Oh my goodness.....you have never slept well before you sleep on HI's pillows! About an hour after getting into the room, the telephone rang and it was the hotel manager asking if everything was satisfactory? I said, yes, it was - it is a lovely room. He then says "I just want you to know that there will be no charge for the room for tonight"....I told him that wasn't necessary and he said "No, Hampton Inn has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and your room was not ready by the advertised check in time". Wow! We were very impressed....we neither asked for any concession or expected any just because the room wasn't ready on time. Kudos to Hampton Inn management....they will definitely get our business in the future!

Room Tip: Book early....our room charge was to be $108 per night....someone checking in right beside us was qu...

As many others have posted, the Hampton is clean, convenient, and comfortable. It's near shopping and chain restaurants, but not far from the old downtown where there are much nicer places to eat. The hotel was very quiet except for the gurgling fridge. We didn't visit the pool or eat breakfast at the hotel, so can't speak to those. Oh, and the elevators are really, really slow.

A newish, excellent Hampton in all respects, this particular building still has some minor flaws, some of which other reviewers have identified. If the HVAC is not on, the sound of doors automatically slamming closed can be heard. More easily remedied is the gurgling of the refrigerator, which we simply unplugged. Surely it is not beyond the ability of technology to make doors that close quietly and refrigerators that don't gurgle. My own motel pet peeve remains from a 2009 stay: the bathroom sink stopper that will not close. Some men prefer to shave with water in the sink; it's ecologically correct, too, rather than letting the water run. Why do motels buy sinks with stoppers if they're not going to keep them working? What could be easier than having the cleaners check the stopper when they clean the sink? This is so commonplace I don't even bother to complain any more.

Had a nice stay at the Hampton Inn traveling home from Florida, although it is a little pricey Staff was very nice, the room was very clean and neat and had a fresh smell to it. Breakfast was great and the young lady who did the cooking was very nice & friendly.
We would definately stay there again...

Great hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious with a lot of ammenities (fridge, microwave, DVD player). I only wish the bathroom had a tub as well as a shower.

The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out were a breeze.

The location is very convenient. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent all around.

I often stay at this hotel and everything is always comfortable with no mistakes. The staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable and the buffet breakfast convenient and wholesome. Even more important, the free wireless internet works every time with no hassle.

Free internet. Free breakfast. Decent workout area
Sparkling clean rooms
Fridge AND microwave in room (although the fridge made a drippy noise all night - probably would have asked for a different fridge or room if we were staying for more than one night)
EVerything DOES look brand new and very chic.
Can't go wrong here!
