Last visited Rimba three years ago and immediately wondered why we left it so long. This place is so relaxing and laid back. Normally when I go away I'm still waking up early, but after a couple of days here I was sleeping late, although we were lazing on beach all day, or in the bohemian lounge room.
Despite having a captive audience the food choice is good and has something for everyone. You wouldn't come here just for the food, ( although maybe in preference to somewhere else), but it's clear they make an effort, and you definitely won't go hungry.
The bar has a great selection of drinks, at reasonable prices, and there's always someone around.
This is a small island, which requires a boat crossing, you will get wet, but that's part of the experience. The rooms don't have doors or windows that lock, but you don't need them, and we never felt that there was any risk.
Big thanks to Carly and the crew who made the experience.
