“Always Excellent”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

One of the best in Virginia Beach. Tiny place so usually a wait, even off season but well worth it. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Shrimp, fish, ropa vieja- all outstanding. Lovely wine selection and delicious desserts. Black beans and rice are fabulous.

“Nice surprise”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We checked out trip advisor and went here based on its reviews. It is a small, charming place with some of the best Cuban food (and we are from NYC area).

The pineapple mojito was so fresh, crisp and flavorful. The empanadas were outstanding, and the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce was seasoned perfectly. Finally the flan (very typical dessert) was one of the best I have tasted.

The food complemented the great service. Our waitress who also seemed to be the hostess, was very attentive.

I would suggest making a stop here.

“Worth walking from boardwalk”
Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Stop looking for places to go and go to this place. Chef Tito learned his trade well. I was it a party of 10, everybody ordered something different and everything was very good. A mojito, a Cuban sandwich, and the bread pudding are a must. It's on my iPhones GoBack List

“Calling all Foodies!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

We stumbled upon this little restaurant on our recent visit to Virginia Beach and loved it enough to go back two nights later. Fresh, authentic Latin food, including the best mojitos with fresh mint. Don't miss the Clam appetizer or the luscious desserts. Happy Hour specials between 5-7 Tues.-Fri. and between 2-5 Sat. and Sun. which also take $1 off all menu appetizers. Terrific service too!

“Great Mojitos”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The mojitos are very good. We came for happy hour so they were 5 bucks. Not a lot of space at the bar. Too bad you can't drink out on the front deck.
