I friend took me to Nicks for lunch the other day who lives at the beach and said it was one of his favorite restaurants, but it's definitely a locals spot. Had the blackened tilapia lunch special for $7.00 and couldn't believe the size of the fish. Sometimes blackened means way over seasoned or too hot, but this was perfect. Along with 2 sides, what a deal. It's easy walking distance from the the board walk, but definitely not fancy. Swim suit & t-shirt is perfect. If you want a great meal for a great price, this is your place.

$16.99 for a tiny seafood platter. 2 scallops, a couple shrimp, and a spoonful of crab. items were broiled but sat in a ton of butter. Not a healthy alternative to fried. The burger was good and worth the $5.99 but I would not recommend it for seafood. The waitress was very brash, almost acted as if she wasnt interested in serving us. We ordered soup and she never delivered it. At the end of the meal when she brought the check she said the soup wasnt ready so she didn't put it on our bill..DUH!?!?! Could she maybe have told us after we ordered it and not at the end of the meal.

If you want a burger and fries with mediocre service this is the place to go...

I had the blackened sea bass. It was delicate and flaky with just a little kick. Service is great! If you are looking for a fancy romantic setting -- sorry this isn't it. Prices are very reasonable. We generally go with a party of at least 6 and never had to wait more than 10 minutes.

We were looking for good fresh seafood without the extras and without the higher prices. Prices were very reasonable. Food was very fresh, tasty and seasoned well. We had soft shell crabs, blackened catfish, steamed oysters and clams. All were excelent. Negatively, the childrens chicken fingers portion was too big (not much of a negative) and there was no kind of presentation. You will have to eat the food to enjoy it! Service was simple and very fast. I will look forward to going back.
