Description: Check out the photos and memorabilia on our walls which tell the story of our building and home. It makes for some entertaining reading while you're having a meal or waiting for a table. If you're lucky enough to run into Bill when you're in make sure you ask about the history of Doc's. He can give you the full story on our former life as a pink hotel. Our current operation, Doc Taylor's, was spawned after sister restaurant, Tautogs, had established itself as one of the best seafood restaurants on the Virginia Beach oceanfront. We felt that we wanted to extend our on 23rd street precense and we created Doc Taylor's, and the Doc Taylor's Seaside Market Lounge. Both venues sit next door to Tautogs which means more parking for our guests, a no cover LIVE music outlet for the community, and some amazing breakfast and lunch plates at affordable price. The vibe is pretty comfortable at Doc's and we don't expect it to change anytime soon. Resrvations are not accepted.

Had a great breakfast here just steps away from the boardwalk. Good prices and food was tasty. Will try the bloody mary special next time!

Took the advise of TA on this one. So many positive reviews and we will add to that. No wait, but this is on a January weekday. Wide selection and all made to order. Took a chance on Eggs Benedict with the poached eggs cooked medium and was not disappointed. The Hollandise sauce bills itself as homemade and it is so light and lemony. Good coffee and Veggie Omelette rounded out our breakfast.

I was recently in Virginia for New Year's with friends. When I asked my friend to take me to breakfast there was only one place he had in mind. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. They also offer adult breakfast beverages for next to nothing. Their omlettes are huge and their sweets looked delectable.

Residential setting with great food. One block off the ocean. Has a bar next door so you can have a bloody Mary while waiting for your table.

Winter in VB leaves many local dining spots closed. We thought we would check out this place before the 3pm closing time. Wife enjoyed her cup of she crab soup and the lamb gyro. I found my "Left side" breakfast to be amazing. 2 eggs scrambled "dry" as I requested. 2 full pieces of french toast, And 3 strips of bacon. All for $8.99. I consider this a gigantic bargain. Coffee only $1.85. Milk only $1.75. This is a local gathering place so be ready for a wait. We were quoted 20 minutes, but got seated in 10. They do a nice job and are very friendly. Put it on your list.....
