Superb Italian food. Oil and spice dip made fresh for your bread to be dipped, appetizers are plentiful and filling and the food no matter what you have ordered is excellent. We have eaten here many times over the past year and it has taken the place of many Italian eateries. The atmosphere, service, price and food are all exceptional. Don't relate the food you will receive to a chain eatery. This is prepared far better and given the chef's touch.

My wife and I ate here in late November. We were staying at the nearby Westin, very convenient. We really enjoyed the Italian fare here, one of the best meals of our 16 day trip to DC,Virginia Beach,Myrtle Beach and points in between.I ordered the Sausage Tortellini,my wife the Veal Marsala. The complimentary Italian Bread and dipping sauce was delicious! With a glass of wine each dinner cost less than $60.00.We recommend this place for sure!!

That is how my visit was.....average. The food was passable but barely, and the service was ok for the size party we had I wouldn't have put a trainee at our table but whatever. Also had a mangaer training at the time and one girl at the table ordered 3 different drinks that they had to come back and say they didn't carry that kind of alcohol. Training manager then recommended a drink and she ordered that, well tried to, that same manager had to come back and say they didn't carry that alcohol either. NOt very professional and embarrassing if you ask me. Wold much rather go to the local olive garden or make it at home!

After the ballet at Sandler Center, we walked 3 blocks to Bravo Cucina for an early dinner. The restaurant was busy with holiday groups and by 4:30 was filled by the ballet audience. Bradley, our waiter was very helpful. When the youngsters wanted pizza, but not the piizzas on the menu, Bradley's solution was to have them say what they wanted on the pizza and the kitchen would make it happen. I like that "can do attitude". We enjoyed what we ordered: calamari, 2 pizzas made to order, mac and cheese, veal marsala, lobster ravioli, 2 beef ravioli, creme brule, chocolate cake, tiramisu, lava cake, and sampler of 3 desserts. Everyone was very happy with their choice, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding.

From the appetizers, bread and salad to the dinner entree the food at Bravos is delicious and overall the service is excellent. Being a business owner, the one thing I would improved upon is to have the hostess work on improving their greeting skills. While there were about 4 girls at the hostess stand, it seemed they were confused as to who was to greet. We waited a bit before someone did and then the hostess just stared at us for a minute as if we were to tell her what to do rather than taking the initiative in asking about our party and/or reservations. I would have them better prepared possibly even someone opening the door and greeting customers as they enter as many restaurants do. Our waitress was excellent-she was prompt, checked in frequently and was friendly. One thing is we ordered iced tea and thought it was a little unusual for such a nice restaurant to bring out the tea in plastic bottles for us to pour into our glasses. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would return again.
