“Great scenery from the pier”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

I'm not into fishing, but this pier has very nice ocean views. Located on Sandpiper Rd, north of Back Bay Wildlife refuge. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

“Pier fishing at Sandbridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Sandbridge is one long sandy beach that can be excellent for fishing. But usually even better is the city operated Little Island Fishing Pier. It is $7 a day, $25 a week or $100 a year for access. In October there are days when a dozen or two citation size red drum caught off the end. The pier is clean, has a nice fishing cleaning sink and supervised by some guy named Dalton who does a nice job.

If you are not fishing for big drum, there are lots of other fish to fish for...puppy drum, bluefish, spots, croakers and flounder.

If you just want to see what is going on, there is no charge for just looking.
