Headed to Rockafeller's to see if it lived up to the advertised "no filler" crab cake and two pounds of fresh cooked lobster dinner. And it did. Naturally, the restaurant was bustling and a bit noisy, but at least it seemed full of satisfied customers. The service was efficient and friendly. We were seated immediately just before 6PM and the end of Happy Hour. My husband headed to the bar to partake of the special oysters, which he considered only average. However, he thoroughly enjoyed the Thursday night special lobster dinner, which came with two 1lb. lobsters, a basket of bread, and a medley of vegetables. While we were enjoying our meal, we also enjoyed watching the manager clear tables, greet customers, cajole with the staff, supervise seating, and simply run the joint like it should be done. Might have to try it for lunch before we head home to California.
