My wife and I happened upon Neptune’s while looking for a place to eat breakfast. It wasn’t a planned stop, but we don’t regret it. When we walked in we were a little concerned at the lack of a crowd; we walked out quite satisfied. We initially chose to sit inside; but after our coffee arrived decided to move out to the patio. The server was friendly, and carried our coffee out to the patio for us. I can’t rate other meals, but the breakfast was great. Too many times in recent years I’ve been to restaurants for breakfast and wondered when everyone decided to switch to serving pigeon eggs. The eggs on my plate looked like they actually came from a chicken. The meal portions were generous, the price reasonable (nothing is inexpensive in VA Beach), and the server very nice.
